Launch parameters do absolutely nothing for performance.

A week ago it would put most of the settings to a mixture of High & Very High. Now it puts everything to Disabled and Low..

Another update went live, just downloaded it. Was about 7-8mb I think.

I've read a little on symbolic links, if I was familiarized with it I would have included it in the tutorial. It does seem very convenient to use. Feel free to make a guide about it though :P

What size did you make your RAMDisk? Besides that, make sure Steam is closed during the whole process. If that doesn't work then make a folder in your RAMDisk, call it whatever you want and try transferring ArmA 3 to that folder via Steam Mover.

Disable Post Processing if you haven't, that might be why it looks blurry when you're moving. Picture in Picture is also worthless if you use 3rd person while driving, disable that too. I used to have that CPU, loved it :)

Bumping again, there's no harm trying this method if you have the available RAM.

Let me guess, i7 920. Overclocks like a beast, do it.

Did a couple co-op missions with a friend. The FPS i'm getting on there is magnitudes higher than normal MP servers or Wasteland servers.. but I suppose it was just 2 players vs. AI hence the decent FPS.

Tried adding -winxp and -exthreads=7 to the launch parameters. No difference in FPS at all. tl;dr Launch Parameters do absolutely nothing for performance.

What about it?

Disabled Hyperthreading. With Launch Parameters. Using RAMDisk No difference really. CPU thread 1 usage high, others below 50%. Fail.

Yeah, and for some reason it decided to use different CPU threads after adding launch parameters. Don't know what to make of that, probably no big deal.

Go in-game and do it yourself then :P if that's not comparable then I don't know what is.
