    United States Air Force( 2015)

Damn... I haven't been on this site for so long. I'm not sure if it's safe to say I'm back but my interest in modding is returning. I might reboot my F35B project thanks to Chortles informing me about the new upcoming updates on the game. I hope to be back soon to release my aircraft!
  2. I see that you replaced my canopy with the F35C's, but I like it! Keep it up!
  3. No, so the fuselage of the F35 is put in as a proxy. So the fuselage can't be modified. One solution that could work is just changing the textures of the rest other than the fuselage. I'm not sure how Fuller will deal with this issue.
  4. Well I'm no longer working on this so no, but Fuller may look into that!
  5. Yup... pretty much. I know it's a down fall but that's the only way to implement other skins for the F35.
  6. So there's an issue with switching skins because of the high poly count on the model. I don't that switching skins will be possible on this mod unless the model is switched out to a less detailed model.

The F35A and the F35C are a little different. The F35A has an internal gun as the F35C has an external gun pod. The F35C can hold more ordinances because of the larger wingspan. There are other smaller detail like the front wheel on the F35C and etc.

Haha my bad ya it is the F35A. I got it mixed up.; Thanks for pointing that out!

The United States Air Force does not use the F35B. They use the F35C. It wouldn't make any sense if he put a Marine Corps aircraft in an Air Force pack. He did mention earlier that the F35B and the F35C will be released in their own seperate threads. Edit: The USAF uses the F35A (Accidentally said C) Thanks for pointing that out Foxone!

Don't ask for the ETA. Please read the forum rules because that is considered as spam. And yes there is a F35B coming soon https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/175699-wip-lockheed-martins-f35b-lightning-ii-stovl/ :) (Fuller is now the head lead of the F35B project)
  11. Hey my bad for not updating everyone and you have the right reason to ask. I keep disappearing due to my status as of right now. I don't really go on my computer or play ArmA anymore because I'm busy working on my "racecar". I just lost interest in modding but I think I will let someone take over. I can ask Fuller if he is interested or someone that is experienced in modding. If anyone that is experienced in modding and interested in finishing this project PM me and I will see what I can do (I want this mod in the right hands). With my current status in life I don't think I can finish this mod. Sorry for all those that have been anticipating for the release. I will figure out a way to release the F35B but as of right now please be patient. I will try to update you guys on what's going on and what will happen with this mod.
  12. If I make it VTOL by default, it will act like Chortles' f35 where it does not taxi. Even if the "auto-hover" is off it will start to fly vertically like a helicopter. There is really nothing I can do to change that as it is hard coded in to the game. The STOVL option is better as of right now as it allows the plane to taxi and it is more realistic.
  13. It will be STOVL. As of right now, if I make it VTOL it is not possible to taxi and I am not a fan of that.
  14. As of right now we are not going that far. Our current goal is to release this aircraft with the basic stuff and some DAS capabilities. The modes may or may not be implemented later (depends on how much time I have). I will release the mod in the BETA stage as there needs to be some cleaning in the mod file (mainly PSD files that I was testing) so that the mod size is not 1 GB. I also wanted to apologize to those who requested to be apart of the mod testing. I have been busy recently and I completely forgot to message you guys. Anyways, pilots hold on to your helmets as this aircraft is close to being released!
