  1. If you cannot make a constructive post about the topic, then leave. You don't need to waste a bunch of lines to paste quote the entire letter either but quote out what you want to address. There was no implication of ALL the fans, but a good majority of concerned individuals addressing their concerns. Do we not have the rights to speak out of our concerns in a civilized manner?

Did the forums change the how Moderators appear?

  2. Are there a lot of broken things for anyone else? I don't want to run up a bunch of tickets without checking first. Latest build, latest beta, I have Javelin brackets disappearing from time to time though the missile still hits a target, it's a guess as to which target if multiple are in view. Also when zoomed behind optics or iron sights, moving or leaning causes you to unzoom periodically. Just had a HALO bug as well, exited the helo but stayed in the standing position all the way till splat.

  3. You really should look at a dictionary so that you know how to use terms that make sense. Realism has nothing to do with the future. Realistic on the other hand can pertain to something in the past.

It's not like we're shooting lazzors. Can't really argue that point much further online though. How about a nice get together?

  4. I don't really think you can maintain a sight picture while running.

Iron sights somewhat, RCO's no, Holo sights easily .

If ACE was equal to COD there would be a lot more COD players passed out on the ground from stamina.

  5. They don't? When fired by people who don't know how to use them, guns seem to jump pretty bad. I am sure there are some you tube videos showing plenty of that. I think in the videos with experts shooting off, it is the person that is responsible for the accuracy not just because the gun doesn't kick much. BIS seems to want the same thing. It is largely up to the player to be responsible for accuracy, not so much the gun or the avatar the player is using.

As it stands now we're trained soldiers fighting against our avatar. Not quite accurate. The sway is pretty silly too, I aimed at a wall the other day and just watched my reticle, I haven't seen a weapon that unsteady IRL since we fired off of the fantail on a ship.

  6. For what it's worth, I have been playing since the original OFP a little over a decade ago and this is the first time that the movement has felt slick enough for me to consider PvP appealing. I'm sure that I'm not alone in this sentiment, so I would expect to see a vibrant PvP scene. Right now there are a bunch of servers running a PvP mode called Blitzkried, and I am having an absolute blast playing that.

I agree with this, it finally feels slick enough. I jumped on a PVP server the other night and it just felt like any other "run and gun, damn the consequences" FPS. Yawn.
