I am now looking at two different computers to run Arma 2 on high. So basically if you want it to look better but not necessarily perform better or faster

I've noticed with some of the arma 2 videos people post on YouTube they are running dual GPUs in SLI configuration. What is the advantage in that if you can afford it?

Ok. I was also thinking of just getting a desktop instead. For the same amount of money I can get a 3.2 ghz CPU and 16gb of RAM

Thanks for the info. I actually looked up a custom computer on tigerdirect and with the upgrades I gave it; intel i5-2600k processor with liquid cooling, 16gb ddr3 ram(idk who makes the memory units), 1 tb hdd, and nvidia gtx560ti graphics card, it came to about $1300 which includes a mouse, keyboard, and 850w power supply. So I think that's what I'll get

I am looking to get a new computer to play arma 2 on "normal" or high detail settings but I have a limited budget ($1200) I basically would like to know what would I should get for that amount of money. I don't need a monitor or speakers because I have really good ones now. Just need the basic computer
