Red Cross wants war themed video games to abide by Geneva Conventions.

Well, thoughts turn to words and turn to actions and reap consequences. -
I've seen this news a few days back. I wonder what's going to happen next. Does anybody here remember the Japanese jetstream balloon bombs and how the US found their launching site/origin just by analyzing the machinery and grains of sand? Kind of popped in my mind when I read this. What I mean is, loads of information, more than what we expect, may be derived and consequently used against enemies.

Every 36 hours one suicide in the US Army

I guess they did get proper military instruction, but they weren't prepared for the side of humanity they've seen. Everyone has borders of reality and normalcy, a kind of psychological comfort zone. And the frontlines of war more than anything violates these lines. I won't say these soldiers are weak, I'd just say war (and the fact that we need military force) is cruel. -
And the FBI, CIA, M13, and all other intelligence departments out there.

The 70th Anniversary of the Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor

I remember the first time I saw Pearl Harbor with Ben Affleck,I was like, "that is so horrible!" It's good that tragedies like these in history are being remembered through films, books, and documentaries - everyone knows our generation don't need to repeat the same mistakes. -

Doesn't seem like the ones for whom these soldiers fought and died for are very grateful.

I was also looking for a screen cover, one that reduces glare and blocks UV rays or something like that. -

The pressure is quite mindblowing, I've heard. Also in personal narratives I've read the stress they encounter from fellow soldiers and superiors inside their unit is also a great factor. Just praying for these guys. -
Thanks for the link. Looks like there's several interesting ones over there. Too bad there wasn't a clip, though.

Why can't I see the promotional posters in these pages??:(

Pinky and The Brain tried it years ago. Seriously, I thought I'd only see this in the movies and doomsday novel plots.

When I scrolled down and saw the second image, a haunting orchestral background music played inside my head.

Does Pakistan really have what it takes to fight the US?
MF_Washburn replied to darkxess's topic in OFFTOPIC
To the topic question - no. And I don't think that will solve any problems between these countries either. -

Well, that's very interesting to say the least. Imagine RC stopping your character in the middle of a "crime", and then hauling you off for disciplinary action ;D -
Why do "Fantasy" gamers hate military shooters so much?
MF_Washburn replied to BF2_Trooper's topic in OFFTOPIC
Made me laugh that one. I enjoy both genres, but I have a theory for those people you're talking about: Maybe they just feel slashing enemies that do not resemble what they are is easier.
