  1. hey guys. is it an idea to be able te set AI spacing in the formations. since in the stock game the spacing seems unrealistically small. (IRL you will be spotter quicker) cause depending on the mission (i.e IED/boobytrap thread) you want a large spacing of your units. so the options would be. formation menu. - set spacing...... -5m -7.5m -10m etc what do you think of the idea. sorry for bad grammar. jptiger

  4. hey guys. not sure if anyone noticed but . since the release of AO some default arma 2 objects (IE simple target) has been moved to another pbo (camisc_e) however these are arma 2 stock objects. so if i load them in arma2vanilla you the game cant find them (since camisc_e is not in the stock game) and my mission breaks. this makes it extremely difficult to make mission that can be played with A2Vanilla. is there a fix for this/ or will it be fixed in the next beta (f/e creating a duplicate pbo only containing these specific A2Vanilla objects) thanks in advance. sorry for the grammar jptiger

  6. hey guys, i am working on a template (not saying what kind :)), used for training finished my setup, now it requires the following addons. version=11; class Mission { addOns[]= { "camisc_e", "utes", "camisc3", "CAMisc", "cacharacters2", "map_eu" }; addOnsAuto[]= { "cacharacters2", "camisc_e", "map_eu", "camisc3", "CAMisc", "utes" }; cacharacters2 is the cachacterspbo (if i am not mistaken this one should be on the stock game, however i have not been able to find it) map_eu is part of the editor upgrade, i want to make this a req. addons so not a problem. camisc_e / camisc3 / CAMisc are pbo's that cannot be found with the stock game, (if i load arma2 /arma2CO with the map upgrade it asks for them) if i delete any of them the mission breaks down and i lose most of the objects on the map (and my triggers break down) i have not been able to find these pbo's or not been able to find a solution via google. anyone have any idea how to fix this, so i can release my template/mission thanks in advance. jptiger

  9. hey guys. i extracted my characters & character2.pbo files to re skin the regular cdf soldier. (found in in characters2/blufor now i got the following files in a folder. soldier.p3d (or do i need the soldier_CO.p3d (also in the folder) soldier_co.paa (already re skinned) equip_co.paa now my question is how do i get it working in game, some time ago i tried out altering the texture of a addons skin (worked, since i only needed to alter the texture) but this is a default bis unit so i need to get all files and make a config. how do i make these configs. (i know how to make pbo's and work with addon folders). do i have all files i need for this unit or am i missing some. (the reskinned unit will need to be under bluefor/testfaction/men i already searched and tried tutorials but many are outdated/offline and others are not answering my questions. thanks in advance. and sorry for the awful grammar

  13. hey guys, got some problem with my arma2 (co. + all dlc) can no longer launch it and if i launch with beta i cant do anything so if i get in game the mission ends directly (debrief screen) got it since i installed soem addons. now i want to reinstall but will using my own serials post any problems (armaX and ACR) or will it be just fine to play it.
  14. hey guys. i am currently working on a armybase/showcase mission however for that i am looking for some obstacles (like the ones in armex (both of them)) i have hovever only been able to locate the dirthumps and the concrete ramp in the editor (using the editor hacks) however still looking for more (including the infantry obstacles) i would be able to check the objects name with the object interaction button. however i cannot seem to get into armex any longer (loads, map/loadout screen, starts loading again but is stuck at 50%) does anyone have any idea what the objects are named or where i can find them, and does anyone else have any idea how i can fix armex thanks :)
  15. most important is that i now can very easily find what i am looking for so i do not have to search for hours. (most of the time i end up doing shitty stuff anyways), but do you happen t oknow how i can spawn the compositions?

    thanks for the quick response, working on a showcase with the mod btw, it includes a popuptarget course in the forest among others, figured out many of the objects i need and many of the scripts time to start building soon :)

    hey guys, great mod but only a couple questions. -can you please add handguns to the infantry units, -will there ever be a 50mm bushmaster version for the cv90 -will there be a version with a machine gun mounted upon the turret (like many other IFV/APC/tanks -can the c7/8 rifles (new units) be modifield so you can look over the scope aswell (no sight needed) (currently it sucks at cqb) thanks
  19. hey guys. inoticed the sheer amount of user missions on the forums, so why dont we make one thread (if not already in existing) where users can post missions (when released) and the first post will be upgraded, the mission will be sorted in genre (stealth, offensive, defensive etc.) this makes it easier for people to find your mission . so what do you think about this, good idea or not?
  20. nice mission, gonna try it after work (from 12 to 6PMCET) i love stealth missions, made one myself (undercover panthera) loved them since the kskmissions, but i have one question is the mission dynamic or will it be the same everytime
