I've managed to make clafghan work with insurgency, but due to the size of clafghan i would like to forcefully add red squares to the map, is there anyway of doing this? maybe something similar to the "exclude location" thing that worked beautifully for a local area? Or maybe adding objects to which the red squares attach them selfs too? small buildings?

Hi. I've managed to port Insurgency over to Clafghan, but i have a slight problem, Only 3 small villages have red squares, I think its something to do with the buildings in the other towns, different classnames of the buildings maybe? How do i get thse other towns/villages filled up with red squares? I have added to the defines.sqf but it doesnt help Thanks :)

I would like an version of Insurgency of Clafghan if there is one out there? SRU would like to host clafghan insurgency on one of our servers for a while :) If there isnt a version, what's needed to be changed to port it over? I could do it if i can get a list of what i need to change. Thanks for the help :)

Thank you! Worked perfectly! Another question - How do i remove vehicles from the MHQ completely ! The FOB is set up and i dont need them :)

Is it possible to remove red squares - so they show up as empty? I want to create a fob in the airfield (FOB Eddie) on Lingor island but its packed with red squares. If someone could just point me to the right direction i could just figure the rest out :) Thanks

Hi. Im trying to set up a trigger to spawn AI But I only want Infantry soldiers in vehicle or on foot to trigger the trigger. I do not want any aircraft trigging the trigger. Grouping isnt an option for these triggers as different squads/fireteams may take different routes. Could anyone explain how to set up a hight limit for the trigger or using "in thislist" Thanks PS sorry for grammer etc so tired lol

Hey. Ever since we installed the latest version of ACE onto our servers about 5 minutes into the game people cant interact with any objects/vehicles or able to use ace interaction. RPT File doesnt say a word about the problem so im thinking its something in the server that effects client side ? Any support would be great

Im having reports from our members and public players of ACE stopping working while playing on our server since the last newest update. They tell me that around 5 minutes into the game give or take (random time) ACE interaction or any interrelation stops working

Artillery script for sporadic fire This is a small script to make an artillery battery randomly fire within a specified radius. Create a group of artillery battery. For help see http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Artillery_Module#Setting_up_a_battery Name your ARTY module. This example the module will be called "artyLogic". Call this script. [ _myBattery, _targetMark, _delay, _time, _spread, _loop, _sleep ] null = [ artyLogic, "targetMark", 1, 3, 300, 10, 10 ] execVM "Scripts\randomArty.sqf"; _myBattery = The name of ARTY module e.g. artyLogic. _targetMark = Name of target marker(must be contained within quotation marks) e.g. "targetMark". _delay = Delay between each shot on a single location. e.g. 1. _time = Time or amount of rounds fired depending on ammunition type. _spread = Radius that shots will land within. _loop = How many times the script will loop. Each loop the artillery battery will change target location. _sleep = Time script sleeps between each target location. The artillery battery take time to calculate and aim for each target so currently minimum sleep time is approximately 8 seconded. You may call this script from many places. This example will simply be called from the On Act section of a trigger. In your mission folder make a folder called "Scripts"(if you do not already have one) and make text document called "randomArty.sqf". then copy and past the code below in to the randomArty.sqf Could someone please help abit further? I would like to restrict two units on the SRU fallujah server to certain people I know that you can lock a unit to read a player UID and if it dont match it kicks them. Could anyone shed some light on this? Have done a search can see any help regarding this. Thanks

Well to get a static base look for this Insurgency/Common folder initserver-common.sqf for me its line 47 More specificity That part where "HQ" is a marker on the map called hq (where the base spawns) -

Seems they wont allow me to run programs from the server...*Sigh* So i re-read pretty much everything on that link you gave me. This is what I've done (must be wrong) Started Six updater. Created my preset im going to "push" to server Click "advanced mode" Goto "preset" tab click on "upload preset" on the far right, It then asks me for the remote folder (which is my FTP address?) and a "Pvtkey"? (left blank) Clicked on Push preset and.... Obviously i know i didnt add any kind of password to access the FTP but where do i do this? and is this even the right way? Thanks for you help :) << newbie -

Hi. SRU are trying to get an ACE server running with ACRE. Ace works fine, but when we try to install ACRE we get this error when joining "Battleye - Corrupted memory #1" Any help would be appreciated! Thanks -

Vehicles i added fine without strings - Im editing the SRU server, we have an static base / FOB, When i add extra units + add them to all the Defines etc, they work! BUT they dont have an option where to respawn, For example - respawn on the HQ or on a fellow teammate! Do you know how to make that possible, they can do everything else but choose where to spawn... Cheers for the help!

Anyway to add more units to insurgency? I want to make the USMC + US + BAF squads bigger...
