Well as a complete newb I am finding anything helpful. Steep learning curve? Oh yeah, as I have never scripted before I am trying to wade through the Arma info but I feel a total numpty. I have replicated the tutorial and it works so thank you for a kick in the right direction. :)

Mine did not work either. I resolved the problem by closing down the program and within IR5 I checked for updates. If you look in the top left of the IR5 screen you can see the IR symbol. Click on that and a drop down will appear. Click on check for updates and that should trigger an update. I hope it helps and yes there are posts elsewhere about this but come on, nightsta1ker, has been a real star with flying skills advice. By the way thank you for the auto rotation coaching tips you posted. In free flight I can now do a "powered" auto-r but still need to practice, practice, practise, the power to idle auto-r. Managed to do it in career mode. :) Cheers

Solved DnA Thanks for the reply. Yes that works, cheers. I also resolved my problem by changing to the external view, where I am positioned behind Tom. I am facing Joe who is in his office, he has his back to the window that looks out onto the Heli pads. With the Alt button held down I clicked several times in different spots high above Joe's head, in the green coloured cladding area. There was a brief flash of an icon, which I could not make out and then the narrative started. That's good. I backed out of the program and resumed the scanario. I could now see the "hand" icon near Joe's body. I clicked it worked. I then transferred to the in-body view and I could still see the hand icon, that also worked. I hope this helps others who may have experienced a similar situation.

Hello Whilst I am logged in on the Bohemia forum, when I transfer to the Take On Helicopters (TOH) sub forum I am shown as not logged in. I have tried logging in on that page, and I get a message saying that I am, but when I am returned to the forum I am still shown as not logged in. I am trying to reply to a message from DnA regarding a thread I started on the Trouble shooting section of TOH. As I am not shown as logged in on that sub forum the system will not let me post my reply. I have manged to resolve my TOH game problem and would like to tell the community how I resolved it for everyones benefit. Can you help please. I will keep trying to log onto the TOH site whilst awaiting a reply here. Thank you.

Every other thing I have tried works fine with my Saitek x52 Pro set up and IR5 head tracking. But in career mode when given the instruction to interact with brother I cannot find the hot spot to trigger the action. Anyone got any ideas? I have also posted this question on the Steam forum as well. So if I get an answer on one I will post it to the other. Thanks
