That was my excuse. Here in NZ no game shop had it on display all those years ago. I only found it by chance, in saying that I only stated playing 5-6 months ago, and kind of got sick of little issues, yet I learned to love it. Perhaps marketing the heck out of ArmA 3 would make a difference. I've said in another threat my mates like BF because of the no thinking nedded, and the medals/rewards unlocks features.

What does it really matter what form EA are using to allow a game to run, copy protection or to stop cheat factor? It's what they believe is the best course of action, business wise, marketing. Origin is a media that once fully implemented allows them to add DLC, advertisements for other game tittles and so forth. Look how Stream was once hated by many and is now widely accepted. I too can't stand the numerous hoops the player must now jump through to buy some games, play that game, especially when for the better part all of those extra features now required can cause all sorts of issues..... I thrashed BF1942, plus expansions and BF2, little clowns ruined those games. I know the pain EA can cause the player! Yet with over 182 000 PC players online as I type this I doubt EA sweet the small stuff, in they're eyes....

Sure players might get sick of Origin, and or EA like they have for years yet there is no promotion for ArmA 3 because of that. Allot of COD, BF players have no interest in ArmA because it isn't a run around get shot, live, blow stuff up game, it's a Military Sim. I have friends that like those games mainly for the get straight into it no real need for thinking factor, for any little exploit they can find to get more kills and medals/rewards. I personally cant stand the knobs that eventually fill that type of game who ruin it for everyone.
