100% True ;-)Also i agree that as soon as a game is console-supported these days, its dumbed-down shit for the "average" guy out there.
Involving consoles in this debate just further proves your narrow-mindedness.
But please continue giving me the impression that the Arma community are just elitistic ******

I have no problem with people talking about improving ArmA, but talk of making it more "accessible" to nit-wits like you really grates on my nerves. sorry.there's nothing wrong with ArmA, the real problem is with you. go buy a Wii or something.
That's the exact response I expected from the "hardcore" Arma community representatives
I just feel it's sad the Arma series have to bet everything on realism in order to sell whereas OFP also had a good story mode and was enjoyed by "3D shooter" fans as well.

I noticed the default settings are pretty bad and I'm wondering what settings do you use? I'm never quite satisfied with the settings I pick as it's either too bright or too dark.

Is 1.99 version compatible with 1.96 servers and is it possible to buy it seperate?

I noticed that there are no real grass mods or grass versions of the ofp main islands. I find that strange because grass addons exist and I would think grass is something that would soon get incorporated. The only thing I've found is Uwar Grass addon but I have no clue how to make that work (or if it works even). I'd really like to see a grass version of Everon or Malden since even Mapfact's Nogova looks considerably better from the original due to extra vegetation. Not that it would be the most important thing but I thought I'd ask here if anyone could provide some further info on the matter (I did hear it kills performance or something like that).

I have left this thread in the case you haven't noticed and will not respond to any replys. I don't care about it anymore (or the Arma franchise for that matter).
