  2. Dear Sirs. I have been searching for a solution to that problem since the game(ARMA3) was released. I used to play Arma2 CO custom missions and campaigns instead of multiplayer ,because i could add all the custom weapons from all the lovely mods in to the description.ext.{I have all the vanilla and ace weapons, magazines, backpacks in different documents. If anyone is interested i can send it.} This part for me (customizing your team before a mission) is half the joy. If you remember at the first release of arma 3, the inventory option in mission briefing was enabled and that made me to think without a doubt that i could use the same method on the description.ext file of a mission (adding every single class name that i could find from ace-wiki like i did with arma2 co). But obviously only the weapons and the mags were working.Not the clothes nor our lovely scopes and some other items(firstaidkits and backpacks). Then after an update, the inventory button was gone and i thought this could be the end of me tweaking in any level a mission(i don't want to mess anything with the editor.The description.ext way is a very quick one). After a search, after a search, after a search i found that a good fellow named Sakura_Chan had re-enabled it. I instantly thought that he had made it to work again. Here is the thread and as you can see he assured me that only the button-function was re-enabled and that the problem, not being able to add working scopes wasn't solved.[ http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?168092-Map-and-Briefing-team-inventory-fix ]. And now here we are. If dear cobra4v320 you say that you know how to make scopes, first aid kits and back packs to work again (by the way i cant find a way to add back packs, seems to me that class_backpacks isn't functioning any more) and be so kind to share it with us , i really dont know what to say to thank you enough. I'll wait for your answer in sweat.
  3. Dear Sakura Let me be more specific. Before this addon and before the latest patch for a3 ,the inventory option was there in the briefing screen(im just saying so i know we are in the same page).The first thing that i did when i bought the game was to make a list with all the classnames for all the equipment-weapons-optics-backpacks-clothes-helmets-ammo i could find and which i did.After pasting that list into the description.ext file of a mission, i realized that the only items that i could use from the list ,were the weapons and ammo (right click it from the left panel and place it on the right ,in the inventory screen).No optics,nor clothes,nor irs,nor silencers.So my guess was that it has something to do with the fact that the game is at first stages of development and i need to wait for an update.Then the latest patch came and you know what happened.Not only they didnt fix the missing items(optics-clothes-silencers),but they also took away the inventory option.(im sorry for typing with much detail but it helps to explain my indignation).And here we are.When i saw your addon i got excited, because for me, being able to intervene in to my players load out is half the fun.But the problem still remains.Yes your addon brought back the inventory option and i can change weapons and ammo but not other items like optics , clothes nor silencers.Do you confirm the facts that i post or there is something i do wrong?Have you been able to change clothes-helmets-optics-silencers? Kind regards
  4. Thank you for addon. Finally after searching for months a light in the tunnel. I need to ask if anyone knows,in arma2 i used to add in the description.ext of any mission or campaign all the weapons and items and backpacks that i wanted,from any given addon (using classnames). With arma3 thats impossible,even with this addon , adding in the description.ext of any mission, the weapons and items of all the classnames that i found in this site http://browser.six-projects.net/cfg_weapons/classlist , it seems not to work. Does anyone have any information if Bohemia studios are going to re-enable the inventory system in arma3 that its been known to us from arma 2?
  5. hello guys.I need help in changing some player models skins.In particular i have some replacement packs that when i use them with ace2 only some of the models are being replaced.So i opened for example the config file in acex_ru_c_men_gear and added the line -model = "\msv\m_d"; under the line class RU_Soldier_Medic : RU_Soldier_Base {- in order to change the medic in russia army,and it worked.What im trying to change and here is where i need help is that i cant find the class lines for the insurgents chdkz.So what i ask is this:Is there a file in ace2 addons that has all the men classes?Fyi i've searched in (ace_c_men/ace_c_men_gear/acex_c_men/acex_c_men_gear/acex_ru_c_men)folders but i only found a few of the men classes. Thank you in advance. My Bad,i think i found them.I was looking only in ace2oa files and forgotten about ace2 files. cheers to me.:clap:

  9. Excellent! Very nice weapon skins. I need to say that i have a problem with the addons. Is it compatible with arma 2 Combined operations? because after loading a saved mission i get the error "it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted ukf_ukweps_oa_cfg"

  12. Damn it. I thought that ill never stumble in to problems but guess what,I just did. Need help please. After the unforgiven mission game starts to load the Where the eagles dare mission.After loading Where the eagles dare mission and pops up the screen where you get to choose the load out,thats where it crashes to desktop. I have all rh packs updated but its strange,How come i never had any kind of problem till that mission? I just love this campaign so much,that if this problem isnt solved im going to hang my self.

    @sikc1 Truly one of the best campaigns. Need to ask: In FOB missions is it possible to load a gear setup from the rh weapon packs? Because at base there only weapons caches from arma 2 and OA/CO.

I need to ask: I try to add these weapons ("RH_m60e4acog""RH_m60e4elcan""RH_m60e4eotech""RH_mk43acog""RH_mk43elcan" "RH_mk43eotech") but i get an error :no entry for these weapons,which is odd because in the description file the RH_m60e4 and RH_mk43 already exist.   17. @Sick1 Congrats for your campaigns.Far better than the originals. Is there a possibility to make an update for Seal Team 6 DEVGRU campaign too?(it misses the same weapons).
  18. @tom3kb I DID IT,dont know why the first time didnt show the missing weapons,but the second time that i started the mission they were there.(maybe its because i removed the original pbo file from the campaigns folder and left only the folder with the missions). By the way the best news came from sick1 himself,an update.OLE!!! I dont have words to show you my gratitude,you have shown a big area of "how to edit" and for that i thank you.   20. @tom3kb Thank you once again,you have been truly informative. Im hoping that you will answer me one last question.(when i say last i mean it.) I did what you instructed me, I downloaded eliteness and depbo, I extracted the files from deltaforce1.0_cmp.pbo(campaings name), I opened the folder that was created from the extraction,(lets call it folder1) I went to missions, I opened randomly a mission folder, I found the description.ext file and opened it with notpad, I scrolled down to where it says (class Magazines { // Add the magazines to the mission gear) I searched for the missing ammo which is for example the RH_20Rnd_762x51_SD from the RH MGS weaponpack and its not there obviously. To add it i tried to figure whats the command line for doing that,so i just saw an existing ammo's command line and its like that: class 20Rnd_762x51_DMR { count = 150; }; (this ammo exists in all missions) So i went under that line and added my missing ammo and it looks like that: class RH_20Rnd_762x51_SD { count = 150; }; and saved the notepad file. I put the folder1 into the arma2/campaigns folder. Now,when i start the specific mission i still don't get that ammo. Im really sorry for bothering you with things that you probably wont care, but i think that with your knowledge and guidance i have good chances in adding the lovely missing weapons. Ps:If you have no mood in helping me resolve this i truly understand,you have already done so much,
  21. @tom3kb Thank you for your response,you have been most helpful.I appreciate it a lot. You're right,its not a big problem,i can still use the most of them. 1 question:i don't understand when you say "unpbo campaign and check description.ext", what is that and how you do it?

  24. Hello, Sick1 i enjoy your campaign more than any other. I want to ask you about a problem that i've noticed. When starting a mission and go to choose weapons load,even though i have installed all the RH packs there are some weapons that i cant see and i noticed that because in my editor,in the RH ammo boxes they exist. I start to mention them: From RH_HK416 {black acr-10.5/GTAR-21/M27 IAR/STAR-21} From RH_MK18 {M39 EMR/MK14 TAN/MK18 DESERT/Also when i choose MK14 EBR SD there is no ammo} From RH_MGS {half of them} From RH_PISTOL {half of them} From RH_SMG {MagpulFMG9/MagpulPDR} (i found these missing weapons with a quick search,propably there more) I have combined operations 1.59patch and install the addons with arma 2 launcher v1.4.1.0 Also i have installed the correct packs for OA/CO Most likely im doing something rong Please im asking for your help.
