I am new to PC gaming and ArmA. I also am interested in finding battlemates to enjoy this awesome sim. I'll be around till 24Jul2011 before real world MOB Site @ Ft Lewis, WA. I got this game and kickass ASUS G74 notebook for RR times downrange while serving in IZ. Still GREEN with ArmA & learning the ropes but can handle myself pretty well just playing combat mode. Other aspects such as ADDONs, DL new modes/maps ei ACE, even looking for a game in MP seems to require know how that I lack now. Nonetheless, with practice and time I'm sure I'll be warrin it up with the best of them out there! Any help along the way by fellow ArmA warheads would be TRULY appreciated, thanks. New to PC gaming and ArmA 2 so not sure if I can offer any solutions for your current controller issue but I purchased the Logitech gamepad F310 and its been working out for me so far. However, I also would like to program more buttons on the gamepad that are not being used and can't figure out how to go about doing this. Anyone out there who can provide info to the OP or myself would be appreciated, thanks!

Not to keen on PC specs & wanted best possible notebook available to handle Arma 2 plus other games before mob to Iraq. I purchased the new ASUS G74SX series; Itel i7 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M with 3GB of GDDR5 VRAM, Storage 1TB.... Not sure if this is good or great but ArmA 2 Reinforcements game settings are all Very High (Max) and no issues. Is there something else that I may need to add to this notebook before mob? Thanks!

Hello fellow gamers, I am a new member to this forum & also a new PC gamer. I've had my eye on ARMA series for a while and finally got around to buying a good laptop (ASUS G74SX) to handle this game. I will be playing this on my down time while in IRAQ (MOB 24JUL). Anyways, I need some help with setting up my controller configs. I bought the Logitech PC Gamepad F310 & I am having trouble setting up config via on screen options. Upon entering control options, I can not custom or change gamepad settings... It only lets me change the PC keyboard settings... How can I edit settings for external gamepad settings? Thanks in advance for any assistance and hopefully I posted this in the right place, thanks.
