    Should I be able to download addons by just joining the server, because I still haven't been able to successfully join a server.

    If you mean ArmA CO then no. I bought the ArmA 2 Combined Operations pack which included ArmA 2 and OA.

    Thank you, I haven't been able to connect to a server effectively and I keep on getting error messages, I'll look into it some more.
