Just curious if this is supposed to be fixed. I walk forward at an object and the high res / low res texture pops in and out a couple of times before I get close enough that it settles on the high res texture. I vaguely remember this is something they've been working on in the patches, but I'm running the latest version.
It happens no matter what object detail setting I choose. That only affects how far out it happens.
