    I don't know, what if you made a mistake in the editor and it autosaves before you could close it and reload it?
  2. I've been in a little bit of a pickle these past two days trying to figure it out. I have made an audio file .ogg which i have placed into my arma 3 profile inside the folder called Sound They are all under 50kb in file size they play to me client side perfectly when using the radio keys but other people can't hear them? they only see the text of what the .ogg file is called. even after they have radio chatter turned on in the volume tab they still can't hear it for somereason?

Hey guys I am working on a map just now and the problem i'm getting is i can't seem to place map objects/buildings into the 3d editor Using this code wokka= "Land_Airport_Tower_F" createVehicle position this; deleteVehicle this; It works for the 2D editor but not the 3D one?   6. Thanks guys I checked out the addon from armaholic and its working a treat. Had to unpack it to add more class names in but its going good so far! :) Its weird that the code i posted only works for 2D and not 3D
  7. I don't know if its been implemented from the start, But i am able to go prone underwater. Looks pretty good Edit: I had to go right to the seafloor then the unit assumes the prone position

    wow awesome looking stuff! If the walk-ability works dose that mean we can have a whole sqauds of men then the ramp slowly drops down then the men pour out like in saving private ryan? :D also will the weapon systems be working or just for looks?

  12. hello guys! ;) I've been having a bit of a pickle when it comes down to this part on the mission i've been working on. the idea is to have a live feed of my sqaud leaders helmet cam viewed on a big screen somewhere on the island so other players can watch the action. Problem is i have no idea whats going on? any help would be very much appreciated
  13. I've been trying a bit of mission editing the problem is i can't move the camera below water level. Is their anyway around this? even somehow hiding the water so all you can see clearly is the sea bottom ?

    Simply just make sniper rifles or more importantly the optics for the rifle very expensive in the gunstore. and that is the only way to get it/ie you cant find them in vehicles etc only available for purchase. or make a rare mission that allowes you to steal the prototype rifle

    same can be said for arma 3. The rift is not even out yet, its only the development build alot can change/will change. just like the alpha that is arma 3

    They do indeed get carried away with the waves. Problem is that the boats are very easily beached and cannot be sailed out unless its rammed back into the sea with a car.

    I really don't see the big probem. You point your rifle and fire you point the knife/bayonet and thrust. where ever you hit the enemy kill or wound its really not that difficult. would be pretty hilarious to see some Mount and blade combat type style but realistically if you find yourself some cod kiddie sneaking with a knife chances are you will be shot dead before you even get near the unit. it would add great flexibility anyhow when the situation calls for it. great for mission makers also along with the ability to restrain your opponent. take them as a hostage etc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pzxb2sxbDU

    Um what? You do know that It is Nato and not the united states of america that is in arma 3 although amercia may be part of nato that dose not make the game revolve around them. heck even the main story lines character is a British special forces solider.

    Safety / Weapon Malfunctions

    No for jamming to a degree after all Isn't caseless ammunition very unprone to jamming inside the weapon? this would end up leading to unbalancing issues to the other factions weapons. however safety checks would add more depth to a game. but i would imagine that it wouldn't be for everyone. keep it to VBS2 and perhaps the modders could incorporate into the game if they wish i do however support an improvement to a safety fire selector to all weapons
