  1. seems like u know what needs to be done. could u start me off with where to find these dialogs or how to setup the text dialog. I am not too handy when it comes to coding.

  3. which is not something I am too good at. I have tried to strip the MSO, its just I cant configure the init file, or the description to properly call the script.   4. Or come to think of it, is there any scripts that anyone has fiddled with that lets you have like an in game journal or something of that nature. I just need something to write logs in, in game.

    ACE2 HALO help...

    I am trying to do this as Well, I would like to substitute that crappy T10 with a MC-5 but so far this is proving to be impossible. I am using the standard Halo script found with most dominations. Is it as simple as changing a class name?
  7. here is the thing, I just want targets to get shot go down then come back up. No counting no scoring, just targets that pop up. What is the code for this. And from what I have seen they do not do this by themselves. I am also using the SR5 MOUT script could this be the problem? I changed the parameters in the script and it seemed to keep everything popping up, but when I did the mout course, the targets on the course would pop back up as well. I want it so I have other ranges that are just pop up targets and the Mout course which was the same before I edited the script. The script It seems like this line here is the problem, but I am not sure how to get around this problem any suggestions?
  8. is there a way I could edit the script so that only certain targets would be able to be used by the mout script? because If i can do that everything would be good from there on out. and that way the ones that could lie down could lie down and the ones that needed to pop up could pop up. I think that has to do with this line.
  9. then why is it telling every single target on the map to lie down after they have been shot, even when they are outside of the MOUT script radius. It should not work that way.
  10. no they are, it is just that this script is ruining every target I put on the map, that one line when set to false for some reason effects every target on the map not just the ones determined by the init.sqf line 100 is the distance in meters and the 265 is the time limit. I am wondering if the script got messed up somehow.

  12. Yes, i am trying to get it to spawn on the LHD, (the height is 12 meters for the cargo bay.) I am currently using =L2d= Curry's setup. But that didnt work. Now i am going to try configuring it to a trigger, that didnt work, any other suggestions. The goal is after someone dies they come back into the cargo bay
  13. Hey, i am having a relatively similar issue, only I would like the player to have the scroll option to "sit in Chair." The final product would be a player walking up to the chair pressing sit in chair then sitting, then while sitting have the option to get out of the chair...any ideas?
  14. One of my fellow members is having a problem with a simple animation script. And we do not know how to fix this problem. The situation we are trying to accomplish is in the action menu be able to select the choice "at ease" and the animation will play, and then hit another choice "return" which will return you to regular standing. (this is a player thing) not an AI issue 1st script (at ease) second script (return script) Main problem we are having with this is that once in the at ease, state, we will get stuck and cannot get out of the animation. Any suggestions?
  15. So what the problem is, now we have the player able to do the animation but he will not stay in that position, he is just on a timer until the animation is done. so we need it to stay in that animation until we click another button that tells him to get out of the animation.
  16. which dsound.dll. The one in the arma 2 directory or the one in the Jayarma2lib folder. I am running latest version of arma 2 OA and arma 2. I am running combined ops.
  17. Still getting that error "Jayarma2lib:incompatible version of Arma 2 or unable to check version. What does this even mean. The patch apparently didnt fix this problem I used the 64 bit installer and i have the new TS3 what could be wrong?
  18. Hello Bohemia Interactive. I am having the hardest time installing this little script. It is DIH Radio. Here is the link http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9195#comments The problem i am having is it says Problem is my mission does not yet have a description.ext or an init.sqf. I am new to arma 2 editing and my old.exts and .sqf's from ARMA do not work with ARMA 2. Could you link me a standard complete template of a general description.ext and a init.sqf for Arma 2? it would be much appreciated. and what would be even better if if you could just post them with the codes needed already in there. Just so i could copy and paste it in there. OR if you dont do that anything else would be nice. Thank you.

  21. I have addon sync can i do anything with that? And i honestly have no idea how to use six-updater, never used it before. And yes i am running all of those mods. It is my Jayarma2Lib that is the problem. As you can see that is where all of my problems come from.
  22. the version of OA i am running is 1.59. The latest release. I dont run OA individually I run it as Combined Operations. I also get an in game error message saying I think this is the result of the original error as well. So please if anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.
  23. I realize that I already posted this, but no one has answered my problem, and i feel that my problem has been overlooked. This is a serious issue, I would really love to use ACRE but if no one works with me how am i going to fix this, you have to understand my frustration.
