Hello. Is there a way to syncronise multiple artillery m119s to a player manned m119. So that when the player sets his m119 the other m119s in the battery align with his and fire when he fires aslong as they are loaded? Yours hopefully. BL1P

You need to be ingame with and in a Teamspeak server in the same channel as the people you are in game with. You then use your Teamspeak talk button to talk to people close to you. an example would be stood next to you ingame. You then use your caps lock key to talk over a radio (343) to people far from you. an example would be in the next town from you. a good idea is to turn off ingame VON and Push to talk as acre replaces that. example unbind them (if you wish or if the server requires it) Also wrong forum see the sub forum for addons O yer mod folders can go anywhere you just need to tell the arma2 application where they are. Most people place them in the arma2 root they should all start with @ and have a folder inside called addons. -

Does the mission being played need to have any Headless Client scripts running in order for the AI to be placed onto the HC ? -
Hello. I have done some searches but cannot find this answer or solution. I have a mission where I would like only medics be able to use the medkits. So even if a player has a medkit they cannot use them unless they are a medic. I have tried both of these lines in the init.sqf ace_sys_wounds_all_medics = false; and ace_sys_wounds_all_medics = true; to no effect it seems to still default to all players can use medkits. UPDATE Seems I was always too near a medical facility when testing and anyone can use a medkit when near medical facility's Field medical needs to be Medic class..

Hello. I was wondering Can a Client running Beta cause problems for a server not running the beta ?

Ok thanks Jedra So as I understand it YES the client running beta can cause problems for a server not running beta. So all servers not running beta should ask Clients using that server to NOT run beta ? OR In some way restrict access to any client who is running beta in order to stop them joining the server and causing server problems ?!?! Thats seems to be the only answers I have so far. Thanks m8

Thanks But .. I realise that the client end maybe effected sometimes depending on the beta version. Although I was more interested in if a server not running beta can suffer from a client running beta.

Yup totally agree. It took me along time to get my rig to where I would consider it runs arma2 smoothly but it has been able to run it since day one just not well. There's also a big difference between playing any arma game with 1 or 2 m8s and a few AI and playing it with 60-100 m8s with hundreds of AI

If I remember right Roy the problem with body's going into the ground was caused by a hidebody command somewhere in the killed section.. cant remember where though

Increased sales for BIS More beta updates Massive MP stress tests for beta tests Great new persistence system Increase in the awareness of arma series in general Good PR for modders all over It has shown BIS how crap the Regular settings are and how they should be removed in arma3 (we dont need wall hack tags or 3rd or magic map markers) Cons. Too many kids from COD style games coming over to arma High publicity attracts Hackers (probly related to the above) Promotion of Run and Gun kill on sight DM style as it is at 1.7.0 Kinad a con but was fixed with the beta removal of side, global and command chat. I was getting fed up of explaining shit to 12 year olds who thought they knew better than others after 1 or 2 weeks when the others have played this series for about 11 years. -

I use full BAF and have no problems with it. Its normally because the data server is overloaded and cant cope with the amount of traffic. Ever server uses a data server and they seem to always be clogged up -
Hi roy. Do you have any plans for the ability to select the score needed for ranks. As in will we be able to make getting ranks take longer via a param or something similar for longer games.
