Hey. Just today I finally got around to mapping my old joystick to the game's controls and got flying with it working. It is working, however there is an issue where it will automatically bank left. This makes flying very difficult- to fly straight I need to be both using the rudder and banking right slightly, and right turns are very slow. I'm using an old microsoft sidewinder as a joystick (I got this thing probably about 8 years ago from somebody who used it for many years prior). It needs a special adapter to put it into a USB port. I have used this setup for a long time and I fly with other software (microsoft flight simulator 2, and microsoft combat flight simulator 2) and see no issues similar to this- leading me to believe that the issue is caused by arma 2. Does anybody out there know how to resolve this issue? EDIT: I tried it again today and it worked somehow- idk lol...

Hey guys. I bot arma 2 combined operations (arma 2 and OA) at a local store about a week ago. after long hours of trying to get OA to install, I finally got it. Starting up Combined Operations for the first time, however, it grants me the choice of either verifying the product online or through the dvd- the online being a 1 time only activation and the alternative requiring the disk in on startup always. If I choose to verify it online, will this be a 1 time only authentication? Like if my computer were to crash (which does happen), would I be able to install the game to be able to play online on a new pc. Or if I were to eventually sell the game after uninstalling it on my system, would the game lose it's resale value?

guys I get this error but I bought a physical copy of the game. Am I screwed now or what?

Hey guys. I've been into the game for months now enjoying the trial on steam. So a few days ago I picked up arma 2 combined ops (arma 2 and arma 2 OA) at walmart and started installing (naturally what I do when I first buy a game). I install arma 2 perfect (well my joystick isnt working with it, but that's a separate issue), but when I went to install Operation Arrowhead, I enter my cd key, select installation directory and agree to the terms and all that, but when it gets to the actual installation I get the error: "arma 2 operation arrowhead CRC does not match ArmA 2 arrowhead\Expansion\Addons\plants_e.pbo" I've tried installing it a few times over the past few days. It seems like every time I get the error at a different spot though (I could be wrong), but it always says the thing about CRC not matching. I've tried restarting my computer, installing to different folders, and so on, but I just can't get it to successfully install. I'm running windows xp 32 bit SP3. Any help would be much appreciated. I really enjoy the game so far, it would really frustrate me if Operation Arrowhead doesnt install though.
