I have unsubscribed from Steam Workshop, and I still have the game freeze when attempting start a multiplayer game. I change the port and it doesn't crash but I do not have any slot selections, or description in the mission BI really needs to fix this, and soon! -

I am having a hard time identifying and finding--I believe-- is the All in Arma classlist for uniforms and gear. I am working on a mission based on the Rhodesian Bush War, taking place in the mid to late 1970s. Where Arma and most the community have gone to modern weapons and looks, I am going back a few generations in combat gear. I'm currently using the HLC FN FAL, M60, G3, and their AK pack. (Fantastic mods). One big problem I'm having is with it, though: No Rhodesian FAL. I'm using the Israeli FAL (LAR) as a substitute. Other Mods include Sudden's East Vs. West for the NATO woodland and web gear, plus the PKM that is animated and textured better than the NATO SF mod. African Conflict for the Government forces uniform and Opfor (The Government Forces camo is very close to the Rhodesia pattern). Finally, the RH-Pistol pack for the M1911 and CZ75 (Sucks they took the Browning Hi-Power out). Currently I am trying to get the period correct gear together for Bluefor and Opfor, working on a background story, and will be getting the PvP scenario set-up. Basically this will be PvP mission with what many might consider primitive weaponry (no GPS, no powered optics, and finding the enemy before they find you). My question, request, is what is the mod that has the UN (SZ) Savannah units in it, what is the class list for their gear, primarily the vests for the web gear as pictured? Thank you. Need help in spawning enemy units with triggers and AI Respawn.

Okay, I think I have been going about this the wrong way. Instead of spawning the units on a trigger, I am using a trigger for them to start moving from their start position using this command: The problem I am having is that once the unit has respawned, it forgets it needs to attack the base, as I am using this script here, but without the markers now: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=6198 Is there a way that I can delay their movement to a East_WP marker until activated by a trigger? I tried running both and it did not work. The OPfor just ran to the marker rather than wait until the trigger was activated. -

Thanks. It is seems to have worked. Yes I have, and I have tried using it, but it does not give me my desired intent. This spawns random units with a trigger that is repeated. I am looking for a once activated trigger to spawn already created AI units. -

I have, but for me the directions on some are very hard to understand. I have the Coop Essentials Pack, but the PDF is hard to understand at points, particularly the first set of instructions to activate the whole kit. it says put the nul = bit in an init.sqs/sqf folder but it doesn't say how to create one, or even at all. I also get errors and certain numbers must be filled in, but the directions do not tell what those numbers are. Also, the createUnit and coop AI spawn is for random units that are triggered. I have units already created, just need them to spawn when a trigger is reached, then let the Respawn_AI sqs. take over from there. These are the last two buts I need. It feels like it is simple, or something I am missing, but I can't find what I am looking for, or understand the directions of to create get the scripts to work. Thanks. -

I am currently working on a mission that requires enemy units respawn in waves to attack an outpost. I have the AI respawn script working very well, but what I need is for the enemy units that I havwe created spawn when BLUEfor enters into a trigger. What the mission calls for is a QRF unit to get an outpost that was over ran by opfor. Once Bluefor arrives (triggers enemy Ai to spawn and attack) Bluefor finds what remains of the outpost, and qiuckly find themselves under seined. What I need is for the enemy units I have already created to spawn and attack (attack marker already in place and put in the init of every enemy unit)once Bluefor hits the trigger. Is there a script or creatUnit code I am not aware of? Also, I am really lost in creating an event Handler or working with body removal scripts in, well, removing a lot of dead bodies once a certain number is reached, or even time. Still need them for battlefield pick-up of enemy weapons, but I don't need them to stay in the game forever and kill the frame rate. Thanks in advance. -
Scripting revives and multiple Opfore AI spawns.

I am new to mission editing, but my friends I play online with want me to create missions because apparently I have a warped mind. I am creating missions that require a large opfor force (AI) and Bluefor Reviving instead of respawning (I got that part done). Currently I have a mission that has Zargabad filled with enemy OPFOR and requires players to fight their way across the city to the airport and helo out. Somewhere in the neighborhood over over 400 Opfor. Alas, it would be better to have triggers that spawn the enemy in order to not lag the game with so many characters and units. I have been reading the wikis, but I am not good at computer languages and scripting, and I am getting rather lost. What is a basic way to add revives and enemy spawn points to missions? Are their any very basic wikis and tutorials in mission creating that a non-computer centrist individual like me can figure this mess out, including how to create all the briefing texts and .spf files and what not to make good mission? How does Vista run with it. I had run the demo before with my old GT 8200, but it never froze like this. it was laggy, but changing to map, to gear, and so one didn't take decades. ---------- Post added at 09:32 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:26 AM ---------- Last question: Where do I find the serial number so I can do the online confirmation instead of the CD. Hey, I'm running a Zotac GeForce GT 430. Is there a good setting running this for ArmA II OA? It seems to get bogged down when I go in the gear section, map, or even hitting the escape button or going from Armory challenges. It takes about 30-45 seconds to before the game finds itself. After that it runs good with a few lag spikes here and there. Running at 2.7 Ghz on an AMD Athlon X2 64, 300 watts (damn dell), 4 G of Ram and two hard drives (one a standard 300G with 151 G of free space, and the second a 1T-byt). -
Hi everyone, First off, have to say ArmA II is really, really nice. I come from a Operation Reality background, but ArmA has far more weapons to choose from. I am having a difficult time, however, when I change to map page, gear page, or even loadings in general. While in game and going to the gear section, the game seems to freeze and takes 30-45 seconds for it to load. My CPU goes between 12%-100% with the ram topping out at 70%. I'm running AMD X2 64 at 2.7 ghz, 4 Gigs of ram, and a new GeForce 430. Is my CPU running top end with this, or is there a graphics card setting I need to look into. I have mostly everything running at performance. Once the loading is done, the game runs like a champ, until I have look at the map or something. Also, how can I make my AI squad members run a lot faster and not engage every target the spot. I lost all my members on my third mission with the Marines because they lolly gagged around. Again, great game and concept.
