as far as I remember problems started when ace started makes updates every week.HS told they not gonna follow updates as well as map makers told they not gonna change maps with every update.ACE told we dont care as well. We will continue do everyweek updates and doesnt matter if anyone will play ace or not. my opinion ''Checked'' islands need to be included in official patch. -

yes-agree.We played aas maps 120 players serious games with 1 commander each army of 60 players.around 5 squads 10-12 players each.NO ONE step where he wants and always someone complaining about balance.Sorry. But pr best what I play in arma game for last 12 years(OFP arma1,2,oa pmc etc,crcti mfcti aas charly foxtrot ic arma warfare).Doesn't mean it haven't got problems - but problems everywhere,sometime nothing we can do. -

will be nice to have at least 1 public server with this mod, some additional islands ,nice maps like warfare,aas etc and may be some other mods not updated every week with new fixes. -

offtop but definitely no with a2 and not sure with a3 :)- but there is progress too,couple of time as soon I jump out of tank driver seat my ai gunner start firing to enemy player chopper with sabots and several times managed to destroy it. -
what about put FLAGs in town as taking points,as in OFP. remove re-spawn from all camps mash tents.remove tents and bunkers from towns. Player should make re-spawn point(you can choose bunker as object) using utility trucks to re-spawn,build service point to have repairs in towns and build barrack to have infantry and gear.Make it can be build only outside of towns and not close to enemy base.As well as base can not be build close as well.We can play with these options or add new.

I'd rather decrease amount of upgrades. Heavy factory should give you tanks on fact of building.If you want to have upgrades HF 1 you will get m1a2/t90 HF 2 tunguska/M6

Benny Man! I'm not often play as commander,and not often play as west for unknown reason but recently played. What I noticed - that default mission settings not allow you play against east team on standard fight level basic due to absent of tanks for west until HF2.I noticed some strange result for last couple of weeks that west team losing most of the times. All I have to do to save game is to drive with mhq all around takistan and build bases due to my team was not able to fight against east tanks (which available on fact building heavy factory,without any upgrades).I don't think this good approach not only for war simulator game but also for any game,as commander role almost useless all you can do is only build build build build. I'm not gonna discuss specific of strategy - but in that case west heavy factory should cost cheaper as well as upgrades ,considering the fact that well know bug with bmp2 which have cheating engine inbuilt(ticket https://dev-heaven.net/issues/33444)

I'm either dumb or this is bug.I jump into bmp2k gunner and press big + on num pad keyboard key which I normally use for zoom and got green view.no magnification.press + again nothing happens.If I press - green view became normal. there is also same bug as in vanilla game.9M111 can be fired up to 3 rockets per minute.20 seconds reloading time.much longer in this mod.in vanilla 1 minute as well. Imho 9M111 looks much faster than in real (80 m/s start - 186 ave) sorry to be pain in the ass :) PS TAB to lock function should not be implemented for these type of missiles as well.I know this is long story.But some mods (eg PR) rid off such feature which not working properly in game. -

which key give you magnification for day then? :) -
downloaded and installed current errors: 1.when downloaded standalone parts standard windows 7 64 bit setting would not allow you unpack 7z files into game folder.You have to do it manually.Otherwise you will get error,said errors in packed files. So you have to unpack to unprotected area (not in folder program files) - somewhere on drive c or d if you have one.and after that copy to game folder. 2.when unpacked give you error that user config is not present.You have to find clippe.exe file mark it run as administrator and run it changing manual options. 3.cba error not clear which one you need if you have particular version. from readme @CBA => Copy this directory to your Arma II game directory (see manual for more details). @CBA_OA => Copy this as well, but only if you have Operation Arrowhead content. I have to run both to run ace mod on CO version - but tells me error,that I have to disable CBA.

My 3 cents: 1.when we will have key for engine ? press 1 key and car drive or plane/chopper is flying.Current holding engine on key is some kind of strange solution and not exist in real life :) 2.assigning number to seats is crysis setup and I wasnt sure that they will allow you implement it.I'd rather split menu to number,like current system but will modify it. eg 1 weapons 2 control 3 position/seat etc 3.action menu which still appearing on screen still so annoying,i hope not will be in a3.For example you run around house and same moment you see enemy you stay next to door.Instead of shot you opening door :)

nothing more than bug in game.all riffles bugged more or less.40k tickets done.fixed only several relayed to weapons.rest only to programming features.that the reason why dayz so popular.in 50m view distance fog almost no bugs :) not air or tank battles either :).al least we are lucky that we have it. checking wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longest_recorded_sniper_kills 1250m world record for m24.but in game you can hit 10 of 10 for that distance. -
we are not playing ace in arma2,what reason we gonna play it in a3 ? green view thermal view was mostly replaced with IR view devices and impossible to have better view distance due to other reasons,not because not yet developed. The reason that I can be killed also so easy not make it right approach to present small arms fire in game.Simply compare worlds records sniper riffle with game and you will understand what I'm talking about.

sounds promising but still to kill someone so easy.all bullets fly straight no dispersion and distances looks much closer than they in real life.Green so called night view have much greater view distance compare to realistic devices.as far as I see so most progress done on simulation of the world, not on weapons/devices level.

60A ?!!!?!!?!?!?!?!??! may be 60watt ? I think your flat cable have 45a maximum.10A cable give your ability to cook meat in electric oven :)If you connect your pc instead your home fuse box you make nice steak from your computer :) -
to be honest I already give up with any suggestions.as far I understand bis have own point of view how they want to see their simulation weapons in game.Unfortunately they not understand such simulation neither playable as game or exist in real life and best what they achieve was simulate zombie fighting as it most popular part in game.I don't have any illusions in a3.I even don't know why I still writing something in this section as well :) There no single ticket was fixed for a2 in that area.Most remarkable was fixing m2a2 tow rocket on long distance :) Everyone who I know except 2-3 guys dropped play this game long time.

I still think that you got hardware problem with your pc,not settings. I had 25-50 fps while using first dual core 2006 motherboard with slower graphic card 4870x2 and intel 955 chipset. Did you checked bios version? Do you check cooling system ? Is the graphic card have additional power cable connected ? -

ok right now got fps to compare I'd say you have some serious malfunction may be somewhere around hardware level. If someone will bring me such pc to fix what I will do: 1.check thermal paste between cpu and cpu cooling system + check all fans for graphic cards etc,chipset heatsinks etc. 2.Update win to SP1 download and install all updates except may be one ending on 1033,including ALL updates belongs to hardware drivers. 3.Check and updated bios if needed. Also I'm notice some bug with double monitor.If you connect 2 monitors windows 7 still think that you have them both even you use 1. Unfortunately I'm never try to check what is wrong exactly but it might effect you. Also in your arma setting interface resolution show as windowed I never saw it as well. From my experience all windowed works very laggy.try to set your native resolution in that settings. -

lol looks like amd speedstep technology.Dude,do what I say :) sell all drivers to detault.all game setting to lowest.set vd 2km.Run default game without any mods or settings or shortcuts benchmark standars maps 02 08 etc and tell use what you will get.After we can compare.Dont forget tell us your resolution.Better if you run 1920 1080 resolution.will be easy to compare.
