voting system still broken. If you play with ai you can not take commanding unless you got more votes than ai.Problem that some people don't know how vote and you need to have at least half team vote. If you play with small quantity of players and commander left and someone don't know how command or not speak english it can be cause of problems. I'd rather change to old ofp system.Top or bottom slot is commander and if he disconnect next slot is commander.Should be option to transfer command but ai should take command only if voted,not by fact that commander disconnected.

unplayable islands,out of object draw distance tab to lock,AA launchers auto lock, AA launchers short range,2-3 sabots survived choppers,current damage system (eg sabot to T72 track=>blow),so high accuracy of all weapons in game except pistols etc etc etc - cu :) -

oh yes -I hate these trees at the end of runway as well ;) - but much easy will be to change minimum flying speed for it :) -

oh yes - big gain :) lol - but if you have socket 2011 pc you can have cheapest i7 + fastest graphic and have same fps if you have most expensive cpu with same graphic.Difference will be 500 uk pounds waste and no more than 5% fps. More likely will be similar situation if you have sandy bridge motherboard.i5 should be ok (I didnt try - but have friends who have such)- rest of cash you can spend on graphic card.If you playing games pointless to buy now anything below 7970 or 670 -

unfortunately not your hardware restrict your fps but software.If you have decent PC or fastest pc you will be limited with fps due to game engine limitation. https://dev-heaven.net/issues/6963 try and check your fps. -

yes I3 dual core i5 quad core - but I didn't write anything about i3 - cheapest CPU - but invest in most expensive is stupid idea.Normally I didnt read such articles as main point between i3 and i5 is 2 and 4 cores.As i7 quad core as well so there no big difference in games.Maximum 10% - I think may be 5.In other words if arma2 benchmark give you 20 fps with some settings you never will have more than 22 when you upgrade cpu. -

looool - you have to change motherboard to do that - you changed chipset first.If you try different cpu on same motherboard you see no difference in games.people not understand how computer works.Most important is chipset or motherboard.It base to build PC.All rest depending on your task.If you playing game you need to have good GPU.I didnt try i5 - but think even i5 is more than enough.Probably that is why no i5 for socket 2011. -

I'd rather get cheaper CPU and more expensive graphic.CPU not bring you a single more fps :) -

I never notice anything on fps level.Could be anything really - dust in fan(S), dry thermal paste,over loaded hdd,drivers,new quality settings... -

I suggest you avoid big hills (maximum equal highest building in game is enough) as game not good with physics and narrow places,as ai not good with path finding and it might be cause of lag. Obviously runways should be free of trees and hills.I also suggest island type of maps (ofp,arma) not like chernarus. -

btw my 5c - incoming missile warning make air attack vehicles practically unreachable.Considering useless usage of personal aa launchers (low effective range) ,static AA launchers (low range) ,exploits with switch off the engine while attacking and other methods some pilots have a god mode.Once they lock your ground vehicle there is not way to escape.So before have a look on this issue I rather spent some time to finish fixing "always tab" issue,radar detecting range and recognition issue,lock with engine on off issue and many many many other small and big problems. -
From another side I understand that you can not blame 1 person as currently many version of warfare exist - but most of them copy each other without any attempts to fix exploits. 100 times said - war is casualties.It should be somehow connected with amount of loses.if you spawn 100 times you lost 100 man.But in map opposite spawn promote as hit to win game. New exploit with camp - logically if camp destroyed it need to be excluded not only from spawn and source of weapons -but also from condition to take nearest town.Camp dead = not camps. If you want to have option to rebuild it - go on. Another issue with spawn it self.It needed to special place to spawn,out of sight.In forest in basement or in special buildings.It simply out of normal game standards to spawn on open space.After spawn player will need prepare from one side for attack and do some efford to finish some job from another side to control territory or hold town. Not because game lagging and ai stupid and slow to kill someone who run really fast and play with ping 200. Also drawing distance.This is complete from another planet.ON earth due to many factors acceptable view distance to do war is around 2000m.That is why many weapons designed to be effective on that range.Not because fuel in missile only for 2km.Because visually is maximum 2km here.Because earth if round.Because air give you dispersion - because because because...... Unfortunately game engine does not draw object by view distance.When 4km view distance tanks visible with 2km.Ai react mostly with 1km.Personal/static AA missiles fly 1km.We lucky got missile range option in map.But I never saw it set even for 3km.Always 4km. Even hard to understand bis accepted this as bug.If you can not to see target you can not recognize and can not fire and kill. So as result what I wanted to say basically if current AA missiles fly only for 1km missile range needed to limited in 1km.if you want to comply with 4km view distance you can set missile range is 2km.all the rest is exploit and bug. I got hundreds ideas to easy fix problems but unfortunately never meet interest from developers who plays his own game in way he saw it.

the main problem that currently not warfare at all.There are medicware spawnware tabware idiotsware guirillaware etc.Mission simply boring and unplayble.Most Servers lagging and admin, game developers and map coders refuse accept problem and blame someone else all the time.

I always losing screen while reinstalling drivers - have to login to my desktop remotely and restart manually to work.Another issue they mixed up with sdk and bring kdbsync.exe error to millions of pc. -

First you need to arma 2 operation arrowhead to play. second 1. Download the mod the @I44 goes into you Arma2 directory. 2. The mod requires CBA get it here--> http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=6231 After you installed both of those, setup a shortcut and add this to your target line after the Arma2OA.exe arma2oa.exe -nosplash -mod=@CBA;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA;@I44 Game will start launching I44 and now you can play. third if you want to use six updater I suggest you change default settings,to download mods into game directory not into my documents

there a lot of nice solutions was offered for last years to resolve problem.While we are waiting 1.63 to see changes in mp games 1 more: Restrict TAB with fixed distance which optionally changeable somewhere in server settings for example with 1km: a)why 1km - simple - ai tanks not firing on their own on large distances,or firing but often missed. b)AA launchers not works efficient enough for longer distance.see ticket somewhere. c)Logically to detect enemy on shorter distances more more likely. d)We can keep close range for TAB exploiters and 1-2km range for veterans /gunners who firing manually,as currently object drawing only for 2km with 4km VD.So every player with VD 2km or more can do tab if they want. e)Removes Tunguska exploit f)removes many problems like unrealistic Javelin range or KA52 over power missiles. g)seany still can use his favorite key :) If you still not happy we can set with 2km maximum.As most maximum object drawing distance currently set by most servers -

ace or not - not big deal for me.Lase is useless as sabot more or less fly straight and when sabots gone you can not fight against anything except jeeps ,infantry and noobs anyway.Don't need to download 1gb which updates every-week to play game,which became realities one way but unplayable by other aspects.We play many pvp games with 120 players battles and I remember only 1 time we use this mod and server crashed over 15 min.Unfortunately the main problem is every programer and coder only create game he wanna play.When he create it he stop play it and leave customers his product.Customers see game other way around and disappointing and arguing but it have no effect.Same happens with every mod I play wgl fdf warfare pr aas and ace no exemption.Vanilla version is also mod ,but created early than others and way it present a game is point of view of creators.Question is,Can creators of the game will change their view about how game will looks like from gunner or from what ever point of view ?I'm sure you know the answer.The 2013 in couple of weeks and another game soon.So relax.You can change game.Pray for more patches :) After playing with latest beta I think there most terrible things happens with you in game, when you see enemy tank pointed to other direction from you fire and destroy you or when you sit in bushes and enemy infantry 200m from you running and suddenly kill you without stop or pointing to you.I noticed such facts recently when play pr mod - but thought it is pr bug until start noticing it in everyday vanilla warfare maps.Funny things but arma2 without oa haven't got such bugs. At least I'm not remember while playing aas maps on arma2ru servers. Biggest config problem for me is friend or foe recognition.In real automatic recognition is only available for air units.I know you will start arguing.Blah Blah blah.What ever.I only hope a3 will have different system.
