Somewhere I read someone post you have to hit 0 and ready sir command or something like that. as im having game crashing problems for another reason right now i cannot verify this..does anyone know if this works?

after i run arma 2 as admin and oa as admin...how exactly do i run combined ops as admin..will i get a new desktop icon or will i need to go into operation arrow head folder to find a combined ops exe to run as admin. thanks btw for the info..i verified the local files and it said was missing 4 files for both games. ---------- Post added at 04:56 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:48 AM ---------- well, maybe i figured it out. found this _runA2CO in the o.a folder which i assumed is the exe for combined operations. when i ran it as admin , once game is loaded and you can choose single multi ect down in bottowm left it shows arma 2 and operation arrow head but doenst say combined operations which agian i assume is w.a.d. ? and is that the exe i need to run to play combined ops or just the operation arrow head icon on my desktop or in the steam

Im on windows 7. I first got operation arrowhead then i got arma 2 both off steam. last time i clcick my o.a. desktop icon it asked if i waned to play one or the other or combined operations..i clicked combined opeations. i got them both on steam . 160. 87580 version amd 4800 series card

No mods just one day playing fine..next day get this error and ctd. ive googled and ive searched forums but cannot find anyting. very frusting and game just pops to desktop with this error.

Playing warfare. when i hit space to select all and tell them to regroup i keep getting "squad follow...team" they confirm but stay put. when i select them individuall and say 2 regroup, it says 2 follow 3. and when i select 3 to regroup is says 3 follow 2. i tried putting them all, including myself in team white/red ect but this doesnt fix it. Origionally had the problem when i had 10 squad members and i had a fireteam leader and i thought that was it. so i sent all the units to another team leader and started again...only had 3 and they would not follow me..only each other it seems. I know you can have one member follow another member but i have not issued that comman ever. Would appriciate it if someone could help me with this. Not sure if im doing something wrong or its a bug. only way i can give them commands is to move them to a position..they will not regroup..atleast not on me. thanks twynn I just started up a new game. Had 3 squad mates. 2 got killed so i replaced them. all working ok. bought a 4th squad mate. Me and 2 squaddies sitting in a hmvv at hq. newest squadmate spawned...i told him to regroup he just sat there...all got out told them all to regroup they just sat there...told all to stop. then hit f2 regroup it said 2 following 4 wtf. told f4 to regroup said 4 folliwing 2. why does this keep happening. they will not regroup on me anymore they seem to have formed their own squad and will not follow me..i can tell them where to go but they will not regroup. playing arma 2 combined ops. warfare chern. map superpowers

well i restarted the mission and it completed after i destroyed the building and armor this time. I think maybe it might have been because i was past 6am. dunno but it finished as it should have.. thanks

Im not sure if it is the end of the entire mission but i think it is harvest red into the storm? I searched the forums and even googled it but couldnt get a good answer. After lazing the house with the smoke..the tank under the net and the tank running down the road the mission doesnt end. It is after 6am and i think the briefing said i had to be done before then..could that be the problem..also affter i dropped the doc off i ran into the woods and found the trucks with the mass grave...before i was suppose to i think..is it possible that either of these things borked it for me? thanks in advance.

A question for the OP..or anyone i guess. I just started playing this game..what is sucking you in..the single player campaign? mods and add ons or is it the multiplayer.

I think it was commanders view it was talking about. It was the tutorial where they had you have sykes drive the humvee up and pick up rodriguez then when he got back it said to enter commander view..which i guess is something like the tactical view on brothers in arms? anway it said us the num key. I was just wondering if maybe the tutorial said wrong key? there is no reference to it in the options menu either..and manual says num key as well.

In one of the tutorials about giving team orders there is a section where it says to enter commander view...

Title says it all. I understand the search functions i must have over looked what i was looking for. Usually forums are for people to help each other out and be a community. If i have overlooked something or didn post a descriptive enough title i dont mind you point that out but there is no need to be rude. I bought combined operations, which i guess is arma 2 and operation arrowhead. on my desktop i have an icon for arma 2 and an icon that says arma 2 combined operations. My confusion is which one should i be playing and what exactly is combined operations..is it a combinatin of arma2 and operation arrowhead..or is it just the expansion operation arrowhead. thanks in advance..
