Dear Community, earlier today i told you about my problem with the BE Setup, thanks to everyone who replied it helped, the BE Setup is normal again. But back to the case, ARMA 2:OA is still NOT launching, the following pops up when i start up the game; ARMA 2: OA Shader model 2 not supported anymore Me and my mother (she helped me out) searched google and found other persons with the similar problem, and they only had to update their graphics and Direct-X, problem is that my stuff is already up-to-date, so could somebody plz help me out? Additional System Info: Graphics: ATI Radeon X300 Direct-X: Direct-X10 System: Windows XP

Ok guys yoy said that i could see my specs at the controll panel, is that correct? If so where? Also im not gonna DL some programms just to see my specs, even if i find my specs and might have to buy a new rig i dont have that money at the moment, but we'll see on my Birthday ;) Anyways should i write down the specs for you so that i'll post them later?

Could you possibly tell me where i refused help? I actually just wanted some tips, and i got it, now im going to look through them.

Well, i cant seem to find my specs anywhere, but i must have a somewhat good computer since i can run the most source engine games like gmod and half life 2

ok to make it clear: Im probably a BIT oldschool but im not that into graphic cards and stuff, the only thing i need is a video card that does the following: *Supports Shader Model 3 *DOES'NT slow down my performance *Something reliable that holds for years @Soul Assasin: No worries, i know i might find old stuff :)

So its good and it supports SM3? Will it slow down the computer or wont i even notice its there?

Ok then, i found this graphic/video card: ATI Radeon X1300, it says it supports sm3 so should i buy that?

and how do i see what video card i have? And before anyone asks i dont know much about graphics and such :P

Ok i have a new problem now, on a swe forum they said that directX 9 OR higher supports pixel shader 3.0, also i tried to see if i have the Dual Core CPU and by the looks of it i have, so whats the launch problem then? I have checked, and Doublechecked everything and i have everything exept the two things (Pixel Shader 3.0, Dual Core CPU) wich im unsure of.

Hi i need help with a problem, i bought ARMA2:OA + BAF + PMC a few months ago, when i installed it i just wanted to play it, so when the battleye install appeared i cancelled it, now ARMA2:OA crashes on start :( I asked for help at the STEAM Support and they told me that i should re-install BattlEye_Setup and the Direct-X, it worked only with the Direct-X because the BE_Setup is'nt even a complete file, the following pops up when i doubleclick on it: %Setup Setup Encountered error. Application may not work properly. And now i tried it at a friend, i installed the same way exept i DIDNT cancel BattlEye, it was one of the best games i've played, but i want to play it at home too, so plz help me.

Errr..... I followed the link and i installed the new one (the file still looks the same) and i press run as... Administrator then the following pops up: MISSING STRING !!! !!! MISSING STRING Somebody plz help me! :(
