My bad, I had thought I posted the original in the arma 1 thread, I'm using win 64

My fps can drop pretty rapidly in some locations, but its nothing too serious. I just wanted to figure out if there was a way I could utilize this extra 1.6gs of ram I'm not using

Latley I've noticed arma only uses about 600-700 mb of my 4gs of ram, can anyone help? Even when i set it to max in a launcher, nothing changes

problem is, I was running both arma 2 and operation arrowhead on high settings comfortably about a week or two ago, Now I frequently have to drop down to low or very low.

Sorry if this is the wrong board, I couldn't really tell. I have 4 gigs of ram, but arma 2 is only using about 500 of it. I know its capped at 2 gigs, but when I open task mananger ingame, I find that memory usage is only at 1.3-1.5, and when I shut off arma it goes down to about 800-1 gig. I'm experiencing pretty severe performance issues, where I could run arma on high with a pretty large amount of guys on the battlefield at once, I now have to reduce my settings to very low to even get a decent frame rate. my specs are Core i5 2.26 GHz Memory 4 GB Hard Drive 500 GB Serial ATA (5400 rpm) Graphics Card GeForce GT 330M Optical Drive Super Multi Dual Layer (S-ATA) ---------- Post added at 12:48 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:47 AM ---------- forgot to mention, I am using a launcher that allows me to select ram usage, but it changes nothing
