I think this goes here. I downloaded arma 2 combined ops from amazon (not my brightest idea) and amazon keeps giving me a corrupted files for arma 2, I was able to download Operation Arrowhead just fine. I have emailed them and there not doing much to help. The files are the charicters.pbo files. I had a friend give me his files for it but he already had them patched so they are not working right. Is there anyway to get the files or what can I do?

EDIT: I have found a way to fix this. Amazon gave me different files that were corrupted each time i downloaded it so I saved the file as a different name and downlaoded it again. I got the file i needed so i just replaced the missing file whith the new one. IT WORKS NOW!

OK, I will try it but so far the scan it did came up with nothing.

I know that my HD is not borked... Is there anyway I can get the file i am missing.

Yeah I figured that must be why I havent had a lot of help. Well i will try contacting BI support. Thanks and I have my proof of purchase not going to show it here since its a public forum and all and it has my location address ect. so thats why i didnt prove that i bought it in my first post and i have already tried running the installer as admin.

During installation i keep getting crc error. I also checked the files myself by going into the place where the file was downloaded to. EDIT: Is there any way to find the files that are corrupted.

No the combined ops that i buoght was just arma 2 and operation arrowhead with two seperate downloads.

I am getting crashes that cause my graphics card to stop working then the game goes blank and i can see my desktop but i am still ingame it gets annoying during multiplayer missions. My graphics card is Intel HD graphics. What can I do?

So i just have to deal with it? Oh it only happens on certain missions like the us army scenerio mission where you get to play with the weopons and stuff it happens right as the thing assigns the task to see the air vehicles.

Thanks for the help I will try this out next time it crashes and sorry for not using the search button, I forgot all about it. By the way this isnt related but do you know why arma 2 works better the higher my graphics are, when I put it on low graphics my laptop just starts lagging horribly. edit:wow by the way fast answer I love it when forums have fast answers!
