You are correct but this is highly unlikley if he has been playing game's on this machine without any issue's. I was only pointing out that their is no real point in trying to make arma 2 work with his current pc spec judging by his hisy fit he through when it was pointed out it was probably a hardware issue that was cuasing arma 2 to not run, he will only find that it is completly unplayable if he should get it to work and then the rattle really will be out of the pram. If he is indeed missing directx 9 and that is the reason arma 2 will not run why does it run for every other person that has either a computer that meet's min spec or greater ,as i'm sure they would also be missing directx 9? I have a directx 11 card and have never had directx 9 installed on my machine and arma 2 work's for me. I'm not trying to be a smart arse i'm genuinely interested.

no point fighting with the game trying to make it work you will only be disapointed as it will run very poorly on your current pc spec,you really need to upgrade. You should allready have directx 9 your graphic's card is dx10.1 card

sorry but every time i have ever read a complete thread i never seem to find the answer i'm looking for ,so i generaly ask for help from the people that have a interest and greater understanding of arma 2 than i do,does that make me a bad person?

I have a problem i can use the f18 when i select it in the armoury but if i use the editor and place an f18 for me to pilot it will give me an f35,not sure what i did wrong.

just to clarify i alway's run teamspeak as an admin :) acre still will not work i can see the radio's in game i can bring up an empty interface console where the radio's should be but their is a message in the top right corner of the screen telling me acre is not connected to teamspeak:confused:

Hi new to the forum so go easy on me . I'm have exactly the same problem as spectator6 with my acre.I had acre working perfectly and then a changed hard drives and installed windows 7 ,i installed every thing arma2 related exactly as i did before on my old hard drive but it will not work. Every thing is where it supposed to be and Jayarma2lib auto updates .I've kick my pc round the room several time but that did not fix it either,i would realy like to get acre to work again as i realy like playing arma 2 with this mod
