  1. I totally agree with STGice, I often die when I try to put away my rocket launcher and my guy has to stand up for some reason.
  2. Dude, 10 fps more is at least a ~30% increase in performance? how is that "only"? If you want more performance, the thing that kills it in this game is the object detail and terrain detail settings. Those both on very high will kill any system. Turn them both to normal and you won't notice much difference in visuals but you will get way, way better fps. Also viewdistance should go down to ~2000.

  4. Personally I am just really thankful that BIS exists; this game has given me more enjoyment than any other going back to ofp till now. And I have real faith in The company. It really excites me thinking about the future and what it holds for these games. If I was rich I would donate a lot of money to them. PS I would have thought that BIS' major earnings were from VBS and VBS2 as they sold it to the military?
  5. I want to be able to instantly add a weapon to a soldier in-game. But when I try to do so by an in-game trigger, a strange problem occurs. The gun is given to me, but I cannot fire it, or look down the sights. In order to use the weapon, I must then drop then weapon and pick it up again. When I pick the weapon up again, my soldier goes through the animation of changing to a rocket launcher weapon before unslinging his rifle and holding it. Seems pretty strange...
  6. Hello, I am just wondering if anybody could help with a problem I have. I've made a zombie survival mission, where you survive for as long as you can. I am just wondering how I could make the total time from the start of the mission until all players are dead come up in text when we all die, in the outro. Thanks for any help.
  7. Ah, you champion, it works. Before I was using removeallweapons _caller command in my .sqs file but it didn't work.
  8. Ok, both spx 2 and muzzleflash's methods work. I think seeing as I am designing this to be played by up to four people and hopefully have it hosted on some servers, I should use spx 2 method because it only allows the server to do the counting. By the way this is for a remake of call of duty's Nazi Zombies, I always wished I could reproduce that without the annoying way the zombies get stronger over time with COD. Hopefully if the mission is good enough I can get some kind of a leaderboard going and some competition among people. Anyhoo, is there a way I can make the text red with maybe a different font?
  9. Ah, I see, otherwise it would be adding a second to the counter every 3 seconds. Well, I've learned a fair bit from this. Edit: hm, upon trying, it seems to be saying "you survived any minutes" where it should say a number instead of any...
