I agree with this, I constantly find myself switch to 3rd person to see which stance im in. a small indicator would be really nice with the option to disable it if you want a minimalist GUI

Most definitely, I am pretty much set in the CPU & RAM department i7 [email protected] & 8GB Ram. only thing I will be adding is a second GTX570 to my rig for SLi, I can't wait. my main concern is that the community blossoms a bit more than it is currently, very difficult for me to find more than 2 good servers to play on at any given time.

Point noted, I'll think it over but I will probably more than likely go for the I7 2600k instead of waiting it out for the Sandy Bridge-E(unless it comes out in the next month or 2). I don't really game much, I'm mostly doing web development....so it wouldn't take much for my PC to be future proof. Only games I need my PC to play well are ARMA 2 & 3, Skyrim, Diablo 3 & BF3. :p

Alright, it's about time for me to upgrade my PC to give it another 3-4 years of future proofing. My current specs are: Q9550 @ 3.8ghz XFX nForce 780i Mobo DDR2-PC6400 4gb Ram @ 500mhz GTX 570 @ 831/1662/1817 Want to get: i7 930 Bloomfield Asus P6T Deluxe -- already have it, was giving to me after friend got it back from RMA. 8GB of PC3-12800 Ram GPU will stay and eventually get a second 570 for SLI. My goal is for a steady 50-60fps in ARMA2 with everything on MAX except post processing. What you say crew?

Thinking of upgrading my videocards this week, here are my options in the order i'm considering: 1. SLI 1gb GTX460's (more so leaning on this setup) 2. Single GTX470 & if I come across some extra dough then 3. Single GTX580 And here is my system: XFX NForce 780i -> Q9550 @ 4.0ghz Cosair H50 w/ Push-Pull Fans 4GB Kingston PC8500 eVGA 8800GTX 2x SLI 3x Maxtor 1TB Sata Corsair 850w PSU 24" SyncMaster 2433bw Samsung What do you all think about this? I want to be able to run Arma2 at 1920x1200 - 4000 view distance and everything on very high except AA. What type of performance will I see?
