  6. Fine. I will implement Gamespy V3 in your old assembly. The newest one seems still running with AddonSync. You would have to change one line of code (GameType enum) only. The query lib is still open source, hosted at Google.
  7. Yoma stopped working on AddonSync last year. Dont expect any official update. I could do it, but i need the source to recompile the package with a new gameservinfo.dll (with Gamespy v3 protocol).

  9. Found the issue: I had disabled the shift-lock function for CAPSLOCK in windows (via registry). The black windows is back when i enable it again.
  10. I have lost the black radio information window at the right bottom of the screen when I press the radio button (1.2.10). Everything else is fine with ACRE, radio works as expected. But where is the black box? Is this a feature, a bug or a configuration problem? BTW: Best mod ever. Outstanding work! Thanks!

  12. Yesterday, we faced a frozen mission and a .rpt full of "Update of nonlocal object 2:2968 called" messages. What does that mean?
  13. You cant "transfer" the GM to another player, but another player can enter the GM slot when the old GM has left the game (slot).

  16. Unfortunatly, games are not rated as art and there is an old court decision for Castle Wolfenstein 3D, which specifically prohibits the use of §86a-symbols in computer games. (Non-) commercial aspects are irrelevant. A brief historical footnote: The intial ban of the flag was passed by the Allied Control Council, 1947.
  17. Is the MP43 sight fixed in the new version? The MP43 is very good to hunt ducks, but its hard to hit a ground target with these adjustment. ;) BTW: There is a big downer for all german (and austrian) players. The use of swastikas (and some other symbols) is forbidden in both countries, you can be imprisoned (up to 3 years) if you host I44 on your server. Some people are trying to remove all the forbidden stuff. It would be very helpful, to have a list of textures/pictures using these symbols.
  18. Me too. My actual wishlist: 1. Improved Load/Save 2. User defined entries in init / script preset combos 3. Support for MHQ (vehicle instead of tent?) or multiple spawn points (Norrins script should support MHQ out of the box, but if the MHQ is destroyed, it should respawn at the actual spawn point).
  19. Yup, some kind of (extensible) array ([displaytext, script_command]) in a script would be nice. Atm, the init-combobox is hard-coded.
  20. Is there a chance for an improved Load/Save? Its a nightmare to use it, because one mistake ruins the session (no undo). The worst problem: If you load an (saved) setup, you are not able to continue your work, because pasted text is overwritten by new actions. You have to spend most of the time on merging setups in an editor. It would be very helpful, if a new action appends text to previously pasted stuff. In addition, there should be a "Clear" button (instead of Refresh, which is useless imo) to restart the work. Both functions would save probably more than 50% of mission development time by reducing the need for merging and/or restarting the mission. And my favourite desire: An super-simple undo. Just delete the last action (text block) in the Load/Save editor. Nothing more. No deletion of the associated object or something like that. Just delete the text and keep this deletion persistant.

    Weapon Box Loadout Made Easier

    Working on it right now. Release: Soon (probably next week). It will support some comfort functions: * Filtering (faction, weapon type) * Select all (filtered weapons) * Option: Add automatically all supported magazines for a weapon * Import: DevHeaven/SixConfig weapon class list (JSON export, http://browser.dev-heaven.net/cfg_weapons/classlist) * Load/Save loadouts Platform: Windows, .NET 2.0 (and above).
  23. UPSMON (or Zeus AI) would be great. Another suggestion: Load/Save would be more effective if new unit spawns append their definitions to pasted (loaded) stuff. Atm, there is an internal "command list" (UI commands since mission start) which is not affected by the pasted text, so there is no option to save/continue your editing work inside VTS. You have to merge everything outside (in an editor). And you must save your work frequently, because there is no undo mechanism...

  25. Found two bugs: 1. When you take control over an unit and switch back to GM, you loose the ability to use the commander module. 2. Use 3D placement and press T, use 3D editor again (do NOT leave the editor with space). This results in flickering of the object during the placement. The selected unit during the first placement remains in the game world with the the editor arrow. T should be locked during 3D placement... It would be nice to have an easy way to extend VTS with some user defined scripts - even in the combo boxes for the init oder script example line. Its much easier (faster) than copy+paste (Kremator mentioned this already). One of my biggest problems with VTS: When you move the respawn point, you have to provide the new location with ammo crates. You have to place many standard crates or you must call a script to fill them up. It would be much easier to have a predefined init line to call the filler script.
