  1. Today we received a pretty significant content update. As a whole 90% of afterburner capable aircraft between RACS and SLA have been given PhysX activated afterburners. Once a player pushes the throttle to 91% the AB will automatically engage. Now on to the RACS side of things. Two new unit formations have been added. The 6th Royal Fusilier Division has finally been added, bringing two new unique sub units, the 6th Royal Fusiliers Brigade, and the Queen Sarah's Battalion, which operates separate from the 6th RFB. The 6th RFB is a Heavily Mechanized Brigade, fielding a heavy Motorized Regiment, a Mechanized Regiment, an Independent Tank Battalion, and a Reconnaissance Company known as the "Paladins". The Queen Sarah's Battalion is the current designation of the Royal Guard, a position that once served as an additional duty to Royal Sahrani Commandos before they became focused on counter-terrorism and other clandestine operations. The QSB field four companies, each with a distinct mission set. A Company, serves as the Palace Guard and conducts ceremonial duties. B Company serves as a Quick Reaction Force with 4th Platoon serving as an elite Hostage Rescue Team, known as the "Sentinels". C Company is known as the away team, guarding the Royal Family when they travel. On top of the new units, Dress uniforms and special unit berets have been added, for the pleasure of content creators and those that are more heavily into the RP aspect of Milsim. Additionally, two new up armored Humvee variants have been added.

  2. Camouflage Patterns of Her Majesties Armed Forces

Part 1: 6 Color Desert Camouflage

Use of the 6 Color Desert Camouflage pattern by military personnel serving in the Royal Armed Forces of Sahrani dates back before the Reformation, Restructuring, and Resupply efforts of the early 2010s. Following a war with the DRS in the early 2000s that left the Kingdom and Royal Army Corps of Sahrani in a poor state of repair, the United States began providing assistance by providing equipment and training. One of the items provided was surplus 6 Color Desert uniforms. The pattern has since been regarded as an iconic piece of history for the Royal Army Corps of Sahrani and has remained in use despite efforts to replace it during the Military Reformation period. It is still currently used by the Sahrani National Guard, the 1st Infantry Division and 4th Armored Division while serving in garrison or in Arid/Desert environments, as well as the standard Royal Army Air Force uniform for non combat related personnel while in garrison or deployed on non combat deployments.

    Part 2: Sahrani DPM

Throughout the Military Reformation period every aspect of the Royal Armed Forces of Sahrani was scrutinized in an effort to find where improvements could be made. Tactics, structure, equipment, and uniforms all underwent extensive analysis to try to ensure the Armed Forces were reformed into an extremely capable fighting force. Sahrani DPM is the result of these efforts. A modification of British DPM, the pattern was resized and recolored to develop a semi-arid, multi-use camouflage pattern. Initially tested by Mountaineers of the 3rd Mountain Division during the occupation of North Sahrani. It was very well received and attempts to designate it as the universal pattern of all Sahrani Personnel. The attempts were partially successful, with legacy and special patterns remaining in use under certain conditions. S-DPM is currently in use by these units under special circumstances; The 1st Infantry Division and 4th Armored Division when operating in temperate climates, RSAF personnel when deployed to combat zones, the 2nd Parachute Division when operating in arid climates. The 3rd Mountain Division and RSSOC Recon Companies wear the pattern year round. While not officially issued to the RSSOC Commando Companies, it has been seen in use by their personnel.

    Part 3: "Airborne" Sahrani DPM/AS-DPM

During the development of Sahrani DPM several version of the pattern were tested before its current iteration was finalized after testing by the 3rd Mountain Division. During these tests one version given to the 2nd Parachute Division(2PARA) during peace keeping operation in North Sahrani was referred to as the "Airborne" pattern. This version saw the design rotated and given a color palate close to that of US M81 Woodland. It was very well received by its wearers despite its single use in temperate and wooded climates. Ultimately the "Mountain" pattern was chosen at the end of the trials and the "Airborne" pattern was set to be discarded. His Majesty, having been an American himself who served in the 101st Airborne Division when M81 was still in use protested the results. With the support of high ranking officers within 2PARA His Majesty personally funded the production of enough AS-DPM uniforms to equip the entire division. AS-DPM has since been designated as the official pattern of the 2nd Parachute Division with its use restricted to temperate climates.

    Part 4: Tiger Stripe

Another legacy US pattern in use by the Kingdom of Sahrani, Tiger Stripe has found its way into the Royal Sahrani Air Force. It is currently used exclusively by RSAF Combat Units such as the 4104th Combat Search and Recue Squadron(RSAF CSAR) and RSAF Security Forces when in garrison or operating in temperate regions.

    Part 5: Commando Digital

During the late stages of the Military Reformation period, the Royal Commandos put forth a request for a multiple terrain pattern for exclusive use by the Royal Commando Regiment(Later reformed into the RSSOC Commando Companies). Sahrani Military Industries, who had developed the S-PM and AS-DPM patterns, quickly when to work. After studying patterns in use by Canadian Armed Forces and US Marine Corps, SMI decided on a "digitized" pattern. Thus, "Commando Digital" was born. While RSSOC has lifted many of its uniformity standards for its personnel while serving in combat zones, Commando Digital remains the standard issue pattern while in garrison and while training.

Part 6: Uniforms of the Royal Sahrani Navy

Initially developed as a replacement for 6 Color Desert that lost to S-DPM, Sahrani Marine pattern(S-MAR) was chosen by the newly developed Royal Sahrani Navy when it stood up its first Coastal Defense Regiment. Eventually the CDR would develop into the Royal Sahrani Marine Corps as it received more expeditionary assignments, and S-MAR remained in use by RSMC. S-MAR is used by all RSMC Personnel including those in the Marine Raider Companies. Following the development of the RMSOC and its RBP Companies(Raider Boarding Parties) designed for ship interdiction and sea based hostage rescue, the RSN decided that its sailors serving aboard the MkV SOC boats used to transport the RBP Companies needed an equipment upgrade while performing such missions. A variant of S-MAR was then developed with a modification to its color palate, favoring blacks and greys. While tacitly it offers no concealment advantage outside of making it difficult to spot crew members on their MkV SOC boats while observed from great distance, it has served as a morale boost and source of pride amongst crew members who see themselves as a form of Special Forces among RNS ranks. Rank and file RSN Personnel currently wear white t-shirts under dark navy blue jackets, a lighter shade of navy blue pants, and a ballcap with a shade of blue matching their pants. Special caps with embroidery pertaining to their assigned ship are worn when serving aboard those ships.

    Part 7: CWU-27/P Flight Suit

With the formation of the RSAF and modernization of its aviation fleet, the Ministry of Defense approached the United States Air Force for suggestions. The CWU-27/P flight suit was chosen as the all purpose flight suit for all aviators across all branches of service. Associated Flight helmets, survival vests, and g-suits were also procured and seen used across the Sahrani Air Fleet.

  3. Meant to throw this up yesterday. Been out of the screenshotting game for a bit due to Nvidia breaking Ansel support for ArmA 3. Things are sort of working again. I do have a big batch of screens for a new toy, but I'm not allowed to show you guys that yet. 😉
