    Vsynch

    i have to bypass it maybe with 3d overrider or so .. the point is my average frames in A3 are between 35-50 ( 35 while looking at a lot of objects due to my bad pc) , with ingame vsynch it's simply not possible anymore..was just wondering.. i know what vsynch does in general. My prob was simply , i wasn't able to have like 50 fps , either 30 or 60..i'll try to figure it out.. i know that..the point was in A2 it was always turned on , i never had more than 50 fps ..but there was no "fps-lock" on 30 , when it was below 60 ..So that's the only difference in A3

    Vsynch

    So i always had vsynch turned on in A2, It was Dx9 game..So now it's different, like with vsynch on, it either locks framrate on 60 , if not possible goes down and locks on 30 ? Is that correct. i never thought about vsynch, always played with it cause i had tearing in A2 if turned off.. Could somebody explain, i'm noob regarding that sorry all i know about vsynch is: Synchronization with my monitor, which is running on 60Hz. 60fps is way enough for me and i get rid of tearing, but with the new engine it's different i assume so right now, i look into the sky or a direction where are not so many objects, so i got 60fps, i look somewhere else and it drops down to thirty.. Why is it like that, it makes no sense to me..most of the time i would be between 40-50 fps, for my crappy pc it's ok..But i don#t want tearing( that's why there is vsynch).. i really don#t get that, or maybe i'm stupid

    Dev Build Changes

    i got strange stuttering aswell..the framerate is going up and down and i can't see any pattern or so.. even with vsynch off.. i played on tuesday with dev build and vanilla build , it was superb..now unplayable for me..
  5. you already tried to port it over to A3? I'm dev'ing also , i could try it out..Shouldn't be a problem

    Can't you guys do a Dev-Build testing thread in here, like the old ones for A2 beta patch testing? That was actually a good and sorted way to give feedback as client or server-admin..
  7. The first thing that i really don't understand is the player stances. Combat jog while standing looks good but the animation with raised gun while crouched, the way how he's bending over the torso..i don't know if i would make it like that with a SAW for about 5meters ..Also the fast running, looks like really fast walking.. When i do first person only and nobody is next to me, i don't care, but as soon as i got AI or another player next to me.. I mean simply get off your chair and try to move some m in that stance even without weight in your hand..

  11. spend the last days learning for an exam, was so happy to do coops now.. and, i can#t connect aswell to our server..super sweet
  12. well i did a test mission in editor, in the readme it says place the init line into the init of any object on the map. i copied the tpwcas folder into the mission folder. actually i also tested to not put the tpwcas folder into the mission folder, got the error message that it was not found. exported to MP missions, took null = [3] ( cause i wanted to try on dedicated server) .. added the debug entry in userconfig..uploaded the tpwcas folder also into the server's userconfig folder.. nothing happens..no hintbox (that i enabled aswell in userconfig) ..nothing..
  13. need help // 1 DELAY BEFORE SUPPRESSION FUNCTIONS START. ALLOWS TIME FOR OTHER MODS TO INITIALISE ETC. tpwcas_sleep = 5; is that 5 minutes? so after 5 mins the script is being initialized? cause for some reason i can't get it working, enable debug to see if it works..nothing.. i put an object into the editor, added the init. No clue.. if that's 5mins that i know why it's not working.. it's script version btw. ..copied the folder into my mission folder

    AI Heli Control 1.0

    i'm pretty sure i tried on our ded. server only..have to try again. We play ace again tonight, haven't played for ages. When i assign windows key in userconfig, will it add the heli dialog again to ace menu on right windows? i remeber using your older version and it was like that which was pretty nice..
  15. can i still use the sixupdater i got installed? Is ACE up to date in there? Need to update our server. And a new buddy needs ACE too. Is there still a chance to download sixupdater? i have no clue about that play with six , i got the updater and i'm fine with that cheers

    AI Heli Control 1.0

    i'm lost..it worked for me in the last mission , with left windows.. now it's not working anymore..What could be the issue for that? got userconfig, got key assigned.. as i said, worked one single time..i edited the mission a bit, started again..no dialog when i press left windows.. HELP
  17. does tpwcas and tpwlos conflict with robalo's ASR_AI or can i launch it at the same time?

  20. Hey there. i need some help . I wanna add Civs as a 4th playable group next to blu, op and res . These guys are pilots who can be hired by the players to fly them around. How can i edit the planes and choppers, so it checks (like in domination) if player is pilot or not. Is there any easy way to modify that?? thx for any help

  22. Hiho guys. We did a Wasteland - port to lingor. Mission is not final but it's ready for testing. We changed everything so i guess it's 95% Lingor content (vehicles, units ).     Hey there. We've ported Tonic's wasteland to Namalsk. If anybody got some spare time and wanna help testing 'n stuff, feel free to join our server. Just filter for TGW. Mission seems to work, but it's always good to have more ppl around for suggestions or for finding bugs. Cheers
