TWS Reticle Not in Mill Dots?

After testing with MOA range tables, and using the laser range finder in game, I still have no idea what the TWS scope card uses. Does anyone know?

TWS Reticle Not in Mill Dots?

Pease: That's exactly what I did, I took a screen shot of each scope, and overlayed one over the other - the standard M107 scope is in black and the TWS in blue. That way we can see exactly how they compare. Leftie: Thank you for the leg work, that seems an even more likely answer. To the developers I'd say: This REALLY needs to be IN THE MANUAL! If you pride yourselves on the quality and accuracy of your simulation, then please let us have CLEAR and PRECISE DOCUMENTATION as to what you are doing... We shouldn't have to "guess" on things like this. The ambiguity is one of the reasons why I favor richly documented sims like DCS A-10

Makes sense Leftie. I think your right, so it is in mills then?

TWS Reticle Not in Mill Dots?

I have superimposed the TWS reticle over the M107's mil-dot scope reticle. If you look closely the TWS reticle is not consistent in it's spacing and does not actually match a mil-dot pattern. Is this just a sloppy graphical mistake in regard to the TWS reticle card? Is the TWS reticle "supposed" to use mil-dots? If it's not a mistake, and some other range system is used on the TWS reticle I'd be very grateful to know that it is. ARMA II is a fantastic package in it's scope and freedom, but I do wish for a little more clear cut documentation. This is one of those questions that has bothered me since I purchased ARMA II, and I've not been able to find an answer. Thank you so much! http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/be0fd062049ef7acbc553fe27fd110950e65727f5dc505d5751ea9fa797edc6f6g.jpg

    ARMA II Comref

Awesome, I don't have ARMA II yet, but I'm starting to learn some scripting using the demo. This is a huge help for me. Thank you!
  6. *Sorry I was running out the door at the time of my last post - I hope that you can replace your video card soon. It's a real bummer when things break down.
  7. "...the land command doesn't take a helipad to land on as parameter, but rather how to land." HA! I thought So! That was a point of contention I'd had with others for some time. I'd always thought this idea of the land command using a helipad as a misunderstanding that had been perpetrated throughout the modding community. I'm glad someone finally agrees. Thank you for the advice and help. I'll dig into your script later today. Happy modding!
  8. Well, I could do that, and it work work but I really wanted to keep them in a cohesive group. Is there no other way?
  9. Evening all... When a group of helicopters are instructed to land, they often jostle about for a landing position and end up running into each other - or not landing at all. To solve this I'm trying to send each helicopter in the group to its very own specific helipad. Unfortunately the scheme below still does not work, they continue to land wherever they see fit - or attempt to land at the same place at the same time. (See link below for editor and scripting diagram) http://www.mediafire.com/i/?o7fmxz17urczkfu Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd be grateful to hear them! Thank you so much. Happy Editing!
