Was there ever a solution found for this? After the patch to 1.40, I am now getting error code 81 upon startup. Game was fine since alpha, no issues. Now all of a sudden I can't play. Any help?

I am having issues with my 3D sound. IT only works to a certain distance, of about 30 feet. Their voices slowly drift out as normal, but then as soon as I am about 30 feet away, their voice drops off and I can no longer hear them. Everyone I play with can hear just fine over long distance. Has this ever happened before?

For some reason, when I try to launch the campaign, I select my difficulty, and my game freezes. It does not crash, it freezes. I have to alt-ctrl-del and close it that way. Any idea what might cause this?

Hey, for some reason, the I44 snow module won't work. I set it for heavy snow, and nothing happens. Any ideas?

I am, running 1.3.2 and almost every time I run ACRE in game, my TS3 will crash, causing me to hotmic and not allowing me to use my radio. I will then alt-tab out of game, close it and restart it, but it does not load back up. Why is this? And is anyone else having this issue?

Any word on my issues yet? Really hoping to get back into action ASAP.

For some reason, my map is missing the hotel buildings. Anyone know why? I have reinstalled 3 times, and no fix.

I have been running ACE for a few weeks now, and the last few days, my game kept crashing. I then realized why. I opened my crash report and it says this: I have replaced all of the bove files with ones from a friend, still no fix. Also, my game works fine without ACE. Any idea why it is doing this, and or possible solutions?

I am playing with several addons, including ACE, and never had this problem before. As of about a week ago, I noticed I was having a really hard time killing enemies. Then I noticed that my weapons are not actually shooting anything. I am lag free, have tried several different maps and weapons, but no bullets ever actually leave my gun. I noticed that sometimes, they will hit the ground about 10 feet in from of my character, even though I am aiming parallel to the ground. If I engage the targets within about 5 feet, it works fine, but any more than that and it is no good. Any suggestions? EDIT: UPDATE I ran it without ACE, and it works fine. The issue seems to be with ACE.

I have been playing this game for a long time now, and never seen this. My normal ArmA2 works fine, and my normal OA works fine. But when I launch them together, (i.e. Combined Operations), there is a huge problem. I can play normally for a matter of anywhere between 10 minutes and 45 minutes. Then my game, without warning, will freeze for a moment, and then go to a black screen (Once it was green) that has a bunch of lines through it, almost as if it were a graphical hardware failure. I was in Teamspeak each time, and I have about 10 seconds after the crash that I can still function before my whole computer locks up. I can hear people talking and can also still talk to them, but then everything just becomes a low pitched buzzing sound. I have tried to let it sit, Alt-Tabbed, Ctrl+Alt+Del, windows keys, Alt+F4, and even increasing fan speed to cool my graphics card, and nothing works. It wall sit for hours, forcing my to hard boot my computer. I am running the game on all high settings, but then switched to normal and low, both to no avail.
