I'm using a trigger to make ai aim at player when he enters using doTarget in the onAct box and setBehavior "safe" in the onDeact box seems to be working.

repairing destroyed vehicle

have a look in xeno's domination. when you have a destroyed veh you drop it in the wreck repair zone/trigger and a couple mins later Ta-da! new veh. I used his repair, rearm and refuel script in a personal project and with very little scripting knowledge so shouldnt be that hard. Also I've found that 90% of the info/help you need has already been covered on these forums, its just finding it thats hard. I use google advanced search to search only these forums by entering http://forums.bistudio.com into the "Site or Domain" field. -

if it was that big maybe they're still playing it :p. or maybe someones rebuilding it for you, either way Im sure someone will get back to you soon. kylania is very knowledgeable and helpfull also he has a very good website that has taught me alot about building missions in arma. -

Thanks for clearing it up for me your right obviously I dont know what you know and have now told me, Your post came across as a bit dismissive but maybe I sould've said "why not?" instead of "it'd be great". I was just speaking from the perspective of someone that plays the game and admires the work addon makers put in to the point where I as a consumer felt some of things people have made are of such high quality they deserved to be in vanilla game, forgive me for not initially understanding the (mainly very human) complexities involved and should've looked into it more. :( -

I think it would be great if Bis held some sort of competition to get the best community made units/vehicles in game via a patch. -

a quick way I use to show if/when a trigger has activated is to click on effects, type, text and type your hint into the box below. -
Thats crazy an M2HB weighs 38kgs empty, that would be like carrying a labrador around the battlefield! Seriously now though, I think BIS should hold some sort of compo/vote every month or two to put the best community made addons in the base game via patch. Just an idea And like EDcase said Dynamic spawning Ai With some sort of GUI

Just seen this on the new bis website, in the Interview with Karel Moricky "Right now, we're working through the initial stages of an ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead addon. It's intended to add depth to the much larger and older Armaverse..." Also in the picture "Unmanned artistic visualization" the name of the UAV is UAV_CIA, do you think that ION could be part of a bigger pack?
