i've done that bench with a i7 2600k @ 4.1 ghz and a gtx 580 @ stock and i've got 52 fps with your settings except my resolution at 1900*1200. You're performance seems normal. You could try with a single card though just to make sure :D

Yeah so i'm not sure people are doing much better than you. Only a benchmark with the same settings than you could tell.

Something you forgot to talk about which is important is the viewdistance.

Well i'm trying on Win 7 32 bit and the out of memory is still there but it takes much longer so we can now finish the mission. Before it was impossible.

I also have the same white dots with a 5870 10.4.

i confirm,the option is available in OA/CO and works but no vsync option in arma 2 standalone and editing the cfg file doesnt work.(hd 5870 10.4)

when your card is in idle the gpu and memory clock should be 157/300 mhz (2d clocks) and when you start a game the clocks should switch to 725/1000 mhz (3d clocks) for both gpus. Do you have any other games/benchmarks to know if the performance problem is only with arma ?

check with gpuz if your card run with 3d clock in game ? Also make sure both gpu are used ? but even if only one was working the perf shouldnt be that low. Also make sure you dont have any streaming video like youtube in the background,when i have a youtube page open, it cuts my performance by half on a hd5870.
