  2. This is not the first time when someone is having problems with From Hell-mission: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/16037. I went all the trouble of failing my mission in Open Season, just to get to From Hell to reproduce the issue and I found nothing described in that ticket, so I would prefer someone else to try to reproduce this time. Thank you OMAC if you are willing to do that. Since From Hell is available only after bad success in Open Season, not many players ever see it or want to play it. So I would not be surprised to find any bug there that has avoided public attention. However I would like to know if victim913 has mods installed since that has been a reason for so many anomalities in this subforum.

  4. Yes everyone answering before me are right. That happens by script and you should not just go there. Looks like you are talking about Harvest Red campaing Manhattan mission and using word missions when talking about objectives/tasks. In Manhattan south and extreme northeast is limited by "automatic killzone" to keep you from not going there. But you can go exceptionally far away to east and northwest especially if you are looking for Smugglers that is where they sometimes drive all they way to northwest of Vybor airport. Some men in Novy Sobor will give a hint where enemy main camp and insurgent leader is. There are 2 variable places where it can be. Click spoiler if you want to know:
  5. Thank you both of you for all your work and help on these issues. Took me a quite a while of playing to test these fixes. The downsight is that I tested them with A2 CO 1.60.76705 overwritten by ARMA 2 beta 1.11.86688 content. So to be more sure me or someone else should test if fixes work similarily in A2 only side. Anyway got fixes for showstopper bugs in A2 beta 1.11.86734 and tested some more issues. Results are here.

  9. Choose Recruit difficulty and you will see in map screen before mission that whole FOB Manhattan hill is empty with other units and characters (Cpt. Shaftoe, Simmons etc.) and there is only Razor Team and one vehicle there. By pressing M for map you get bright red map cursor, so no, it is not about display settings. When you abort to end this all darkness mission and Suspend save happens you will see real view for a second or two just like everytime when you save and notice it is daytime. This mission is lacking some files from .pbo or something. I also tested by copying all ARMA 2 beta 1.11.86688 files to my Arma2 directory (to the right places) and tested if it would work on 1.60 beta or 1.59 final, both had black screen.

Bitter Chill starts with black screen too, but you can hear sounds and hear your soldier walking which feels like this is not real Bitter Chill where mission starts by sitting in chair and waiting for the briefing to end. Manhattan started to work when I copied missions.pbo, missions.pbo.bi.bisign and missions.pbo.bi2.bisign from ArmA 2\beta\addons to ArmA 2\AddOns (backupped the originals first) and then lauched game with "Launch Arma2 OA Beta Patch"-shortcut.

    New Computer random crashes

    1) Make a CIT ticket about crash like these. 2) Or wait for soon to be released 1.60RC (release candinate) patch. 3) Do not install any mods before this crash issue is gone. Even though they are disabled, who knows what all those that I see in your .RPT can cause when installed together. 4) Moving to 64 bit version of Win7 radically decreased my "out of memory" crashes. 5) Try setting fixed size pagefile equally big as your RAM, which also improved stability for me.

You can see by the editing date that I have been updating it quite frequently, but since editing is not giving "Instant email notification" and not so many may notice that I have updated it, I have decided to add new replies every now and then. I would like to hear more opinions what readers of this thread would prefer. 1) For me to update the first post only 2) For me to update the first post and write reply when something new is beeing assigned, rejected, resolved or closed. But I will also try PvPscene's suggestion to add overview about remaining training/mission/campaign issues ordered by (personal) priority or ticket quality. Pretty much all tickets here have good repro's so it is not hindering their fixability as much as lack of worktime from a couple of people able to do the job, but with good hopes I still keep updating this to give better chances of getting more fixes for these categories.

[Harvest Red missions Manhattan and Bitter Chill] How many of you have decided to not report Manhattan mission NAPA weapon cache in Gorka and in Bitter Chill missions NAPA fighters appearing to bombed FOB Manhattan have offered to escort you to red hatchback which Razor Team can enter and a NAPA civilian driver will drive them near Novy Sobor? However right now I suspect NAPA fighters will always refuse to escort Razor Team with A2 CO patches 1.54-1.59 no matter if you report weapon cache or not.
  20. OA beta patch contained at least two multiplayer engine fixes that resulted resolving at least six CIT tickets. So even though those tickets seemed to be content and mission related they were actually engine related. I'm afraid we need to wait a little longer for those real content fixes.
  21. 85876 beta contains fix for this issue and I have now tested and can verify that the issue has been fixed. So 1.60 final patch will also include the fix.

  25. Awesome! Big thank to you and to MP programmers! Will start testing as soon as new beta is out. Funny thing is that I have never seen myself what happens when NAPA fighters escort me to the red hatchback, because all 3 times when I have completed manhattan mission have been played in multiplayer where the issue was. Have read about it though.
