You probably meant airport radio tower hill in northeast at GPS COORS 129025 where about 5 enemies are quite close to whiteblack radio tower usually laying on their belly behind bushes. This is the only sentry camp that sometimes gets cleared by some friendly AI patrol and is just ticked off in map without your actions, but in your case what might have happened is a firefight between friendly AI and enemy of the sentry camp that might have been driven away from their camp, so getting that camp to tick off (go green) might have required to hunt all or some of them down. The second theory is that you had already cleared four of the sentry camps, in that case this one and the sixth one will never tick off.

Function is enabled after Insurgent leader is dead. So if you don't have it, the leader is still alive somewhere in about 2km radius of the camp. I have never seen him go far from it or escape. He once was laying down in his belly on medical tent too. Sometimes you can find him hiding in the forest nearby too. Smugglers can drive all the way to the northwest edge of the map. Beyond Vybor airbort. I once found them there, out of gas. But the fact that your frindly AI killed smuggers probably means they are closer. Maybe in the road south of Gvozdo. The car is white Coyota pickup with sparetyre in the back. No and no. Bodies will not disappear no matter how long you wait. If you get desperate, share your savegame to me and I search him and the smuggler car and give coordinates to you.

Thank you for trying again. Seems like beating the enemy is not such an issue anymore and the timelimit is not what ends mission. Ofcourse if you still have the save. You could try leave the game running overnight and let the last red troops finish themselfves to your defences to see if that matters (in the screenshots I see 2 red markers in Elektro). Not sure where we can go from here since original mission designer is unreached and Jezuro is probably too busy to help again. The best I could do for now was to re-Assign the ticket to Dwarden and edit it a little. How about you PvPscene. You seem to understand scripting way better than most of us, so could you check END conditions in the scripting once again if anything is changed with timelimit corrections? Epic battle between Freedom Fighters and Mission Purists continues... -
Only clearing the first 4 will make green marker appear on map above the place and after that objective will complete. Clearing 2 more have no effect for objectives and no green marker will appear.

Maybe it was because of this: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/3961 Just kidding heh. ;) But remember you can push tanks back on their belly if they fall on their side. Just ram several times on their top with another tank until they rock back on their wheels/tracks. Been there done that. Reservoir means Topolka Dam right? The one that has many design errors: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/1919 http://dev-heaven.net/issues/2143 http://dev-heaven.net/issues/16344 There may be something seriously wrong in the road between Toplka Dam and Elektro. I wasted some hours trying to reproduce this, http://dev-heaven.net/issues/8763 but all I found out that vehicles in convoy seem to wander quite far from the road (climbing to hills and all that), but I didn't manage to break anything. Well it has been proven that road network in Chernarus is messy http://dev-heaven.net/issues/8068 Seems like not everyone yet know we are purists and do not like ACE and other mods in our official missions to stir up indesigned difficulty balance. :) Nice thead to follow. Very entertaining. :) -
There are total of 6 insurgent sentry posts (camps) and only 4 of them needs to be cleared. So you can choose the easiest or closest ones. Against all the old misinformation in this forum back from eager players of the year 2009, insurgent main camp is not the sixth one. It is the seventh one. Do not go near the camps. They will start to come to you or flee once you make noise. It is easier from the distance and they always have one man with RPG and one with Stinger. So with trees between you they are more likely to hit trees than your vehicle. Task: Insurgent sentry posts: Go to airport radio tower hill in northeast at GPS COORS 129025 (about 5 enemies are quite close to whiteblack radio tower). Approach using the open area in south. Make noise there and they will come to the hill side one by one until autosave happens. Go to Ostry hill at GPS COORDS 108025 (enemy tent camp with about 5 enemies). Approach from northwest and hammer the hill top with explosive rounds until autosave happens. Go to Black Mountain forest at GPS COORDS 103034 (enemy tent camp with about 5 enemies). Try to hammer the southside of the ruins with explosive rounds until autosave happens Go to Black Mountain forest at GPS COORDS 103039 (enemy two tent camp in the forest with about 5 enemies). Approach from south to get the best visibility and keep the other bunch of enemies located northwest of this one to flank you. Machinegun enemies near tents and behind trees until autosave happens. Next one is not insurgent sentry post, but it too close to the last one so they may ambush you, so it is better to go to Black Mountain forest at GPS COORDS 100037 (enemy two tent camp in treeline with about 5 enemies) Destroy UAZ vehicle that has grenade launcher first. Eliminate all enemies nearby the tent until autosave happens. If you wish get RPGs and Snipers in the boxes located inside the tent). Go south the road from Gvosdno and after steep uphill there is opening on the west side. There in the edge of the opening and forest is the fifth insurgent enemy post. Go to the deep forest north side of Gorka to find the sixth enemy insurgent post. I know exact coords for the fifth and sixth camps, but I don't remember them right now.

Not helpful at all if you cannot specify what is buggy. I have also completed Harvest Red campaign about 4 times between patches 1.54-1.60 and with 1.60 even complicated Manhattan scripting is working better than ever with many infamous Mahattan bugs fixed. There is no proof that this is real bug anymore. I can find two other possible reasons to speculate this: A) Artillery battery is located in area surrounded of patrolling enemies who may possibly attack and destroy it. When you activate artillery you will see circle to show where artillery base it. B) If artillery support call is interrupted by clicking in wrong place or opening/closing map in wrong time. It may cancel it permanently. I always advice to use artillery as early as possible in the mission. You start by going inside FOB Manhattan, use it before you leave that place for the first time. Anyway artillery in inaccurate and not crucial for mission success. Load your vehicle with Javelins and SMAWs instead that are available in FOB Manhattan armory. Climb to a hill northwest of enemy base and shoot them from a distance. Very easy even with hardest diffuculty. Alternatively you can use UAV missiles to destroy armor (not easy), go to GPS COORDS 116055 if you want to borrow CDF BMP-2 or rely on Boomerang APC-unit to assist you or any combination of those. It may be a bug http://dev-heaven.net/issues/18165 or http://dev-heaven.net/issues/14252 or it is intended behaviour; sometimes if you do something in another order some character refuse to talk because that information is not important for you anymore, but if it is a bug, the least you can do about it is to vote for it.

Not sure who is this injured one you mean, but the easiest way of healing in this campaign is ordering O'Hara (F4 + 6) to heal someone or healing yourself by a medical tent. In Badlands and Dogs Of War you can buy other medics too to run around with you and hope they will help when needed. Passing time to get to night-time? Something like sleep in the Stalker series. I can only find the accellerate time option (4X). Accelerate time yes, fast travel (only in Badlands and Dogs Of War) or cutscenes, those are the only ones that make time to go faster than normal. You can ofcourse just leave the game running and do something else meanwhile, but do not expect too much from game stability since leaving a mission running overnight may or may not result a crash at some point.

I have actually never played Harvest Red campaign in singleplayer, but instead in multiplayer where that team switch function is not working. So someone else needs to answer that, but before that go through your options->controls. It tells more than lousy manual. There is no artillery support in Razor Two mission or any mission other than Manhattan where you can use artillery only once. So yes artillery has only one salvo or they consider it too expensive to be used more often. In Manhattan artillery is wise to use as early as possible to quarantee it will not disappear during mission progress. Insuregent Main base seems to be changed to be static GPS COODS so launch it there before leaving FOB in the first place. To make sure check base with UAV first. I sometimes clear one of the most faraway sentry camps with artillery instead of main base, because sentry camp never survive artillery attack where main base gets only partial damage. Some civilians have a habit on stepping to closest vehicles and start to drive them. This is really common in Razor Two mission. Especially in Solnichy. If you see USMC soldier driving Humwee it is usually scripted. In Manhattan there is always 2 Humwees that partol north and in Bitter Chill there is always one that leaves FOB manhattan before you, but leaves one empty one inside the base. Leave one Razor Team member inside so they will not steal it.

I wish I would also have the energy and time to try to complete this notorious mission. Also Xfire has free videorecording, but I think it will not feature moving recorded video to Youtube, but spreading the link for video would be possible anyway. I have bought Fraps couple of years ago and it has been one of the best software buys ever since is was not expesive and they will send you email every time new version is available for free download for registered users. -

I'm not sure, but I think the main camp has been permamently moved to Popeda Dam location because the other location was too close to Escort Laushina objective location resulting CDF battle helicopter to spot, attack and annihilate Chedaki main camp before landing to pick up Lagushina. Intresting info. So he must have a fixed location where he starts his drive just like the weapon smugglers, Lagushina and Valentina start their drive too when this mission starts.

I have completed Dogs Of War in CDF side. Same message always appears there when you start mission and everytime after savegame is loaded. In the halfway of the mission, CDF and NAPA will reform alliance (in case Prizrak is eliminated) and after that the message stops coming. I can only imagine these reasons for NAPA shooting at you in the start: 1) Playin with very old patch (this bug was present in A2 1.03 or something) 2) Using endmission cheat in any of the previous missions (which can cause anything) 3) Using mods 4) Old bug has been resummoned by some other data changes Just for coincidence I'm currently trying to complete Badlands once again. I will try to start Dogs Of War with NAPA to see if I can reproduce your bug (and one other bug that appeared only in Dogs Of War with NAPA). This will take a while, so in the meantime you could tell what patch and build are you using and if you have used endmission cheat or mods? -

Very nice, thank you! We also just tested with zGuba and noticed it really was because of human controlled Rodriguez in this objective too. With human zGuba playing Rodriquz mission did not end and with zGuba playing O'Hara mission ended normally. Also tested some other issues in same mission and noticed they were gone: Closed: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/25676 Closed: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/15537 -
First of all I would like to thank Suma and Dwaren for all their hard work this patch! I also want to thank whoever (Maruk?) provided Jezuro working time to fix quite many official missions related bugs: Special thanks to Jezuro for fixing these: When I found these issues, I would never guessed they would be fixed ever, since they were really hard to explain, but well BIS surely knows how to surprise positively. So thanks for unknown multiplayer coder(s) for fixing these issues: Some more fixes first included in this RC that has been there since the release day of the current mission: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/18344

Bitter Chill End?Arma 2 Loads After It?Mine Doesnt!
Hanzu replied to LiFesAgAme's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - OFFICIAL MISSIONS
We may have solution but we need more information on what patch version and build are you using and if you have any mods installed? I just completed Bitter Chill last week, so with latest patches it surely works. Savegame corrupts rarely happen anymore, I have not seen them since 1.56 patch or so, but here are some possible reasons for it: *Too slow or too unreliable harddrive (too slow to write all that amount of data in just some seconds) *Changing patch in the middle of the mission. Even though it loads patch build should not be changed. Change it between missions instead. *Mods do not use them in official missions which are not designed nor tested with them. Instead of A2 beta which is a bit harder to use, you could try 1.60 RC (which includes A2 1.11 patch) that will launch from normal game icon. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?p=2065586
