How many missions there are in PMC (Lite) Operation Black Gauntlet campaign multiplayer. I can only host and play second mission called Inception since the first one is a video and the third one is a video too and there is no way to continue after the third one. Start PMC00: Inception End (Lite) Has it been this way since PMC (Lite) was first released as part of the patches or has it been limited in later patches? Is it limited in singleplayer too or just multiplayer? And do not tell me to go and buy PMC DLC. I will boycott it until they fix numerous multiplayer campaign issues I have CIT-reported for Harvest Red.

I suppose you know you need to run your Steam version in Arma2 Combined Operations state. All Steam players who used to play multiplayer with me, made same mistake once when launching game in Arma2/Arma 2 OA state. My PMC install is located here: C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\PMC It includes 1 subfolder and 66 files. See if you have something close to that. If you have ever used beta patch, try deleting C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\Expansion\beta folder completely. Old beta patches can create problems if full game is already newer. For example: If full game is 1.60 and there is 1.56 beta left in beta folder. It would not hurt deleting all files inside these error logging folders too: C:\Users\YourWindowsUserAccountName\AppData\Local\ArmA 2\ C:\Users\YourWindowsUserAccountName\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\ Did you try creating new Arma 2 player profile to see if that makes a difference?

Make sure you deleted the right campaign.sqc since all campaigns have a file with exactly same name. How do you know it is still PMC Lite it is still offering? PMC Campaign mission names are as follows: Start PMC00: Inception End (Lite) PMC DLC campaign mission names are are same for first 2, but campaign continues instead of that End (Lite) and features more mission names. Check your Expansions options in main menu. If that also says PMC Lite then there is something gone wrong with Steam install. Expansions should show A2, OA, BAF and PMC. Preferably in that order too.

Try to locate folder containing your campaign progress and savegames. Don't know where they are in Steam version, but for example in Windows 7 with DVD installed Arma2 they are here: C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\YourArma2PlayerProfileName\Saved\ca See what is inside missions_pmc and missions2_pmc folders. Backup them somewhere and then delete atleast mission2_pmc folder content. If you have played PMC Lite earlier even once and then bought PMC DLC, the game might be reading PMC Lite campaign progress instead of PMC DLC campaign progress. Campaign progress and unlocked campaign missions are stored in file called campaign.sqc. Backup and delete this file to erase PMC Lite campaign progress. Another and faster way to test this is to create new player profile and launch PMC campaign and play to see if you get more than those three entries in Operation Black Gauntlet campaign mission list. I'm pretty sure Steam version already includes latest PMC patch.

ARMA II: combined operations Crashes when playing campaign
Hanzu replied to rjc0235's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING
Your Harvest Red campaign Manhattan mission issues are a piece of cake to solve: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?131615-need-mission-help-manhatten&p=2115591&viewfull=1#post2115591 Harvest Red campaign is a great campaign and there is no trouble of getting it to run without mods. It has had some heavy patching since 1.60 patch which included many data changes by the original mission designer. Your freeze problems sounds like the ticket I created some time ago and which is assumed to be fixed in recent beta patches (released after may 2012), since I have not experienced any more with those beta patches. No modes for me either and I also have similarity to your hardware specs with same processor, but GTX 570 and 16MB RAM https://dev-heaven.net/issues/27387#change-136769 -
PMC barricades can't be destroyed
Hanzu replied to Mattressi's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - OFFICIAL MISSIONS
This has already been discussed and could have been found with searching simply PMC + barricade keywords. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?118079-PMC-Mission-3-Confirmation-help ACE is not compatible with official missions and never will be, since in official missions are made and tested without it. Satchel use has been developed further in ACE so there is no way to make that feature work with original Arma 2 satchel use. It is not the fault of mission designers. It is just a fault of missing information that ACE is not recommended to be used everywhere not only because of compatibility but also because it may make things just too easy considering what the mission maker wanted the difficulty to be. -
Freedom fighters......ends too soon.
Hanzu replied to swoop's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - OFFICIAL MISSIONS
Sacraficing even total of 30 minutes of freetime every year to fix this mission this designer could have fixed the mission during all these years it has bugged us and then give it away for current patch release. It is just a matter of dedication to own work. -
Dogs of War - Killed at Start
Hanzu replied to hellfiremonty's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - OFFICIAL MISSIONS
I refuse to believe the scripting has changed since I had no such problems and I played right after the official mission data was changed last time. Since you seem to be able to handle all that mission editing you probably have no problem in trying with my save game where Dogs Of War should start with CDF base with CDF and NAPA alliance. http://relay.pp.fi/Gamesave/Arma%202%20Combined%20Operations/campaign.7z Remember to revert Dogs Of War. That save is played with 1.60.87580 which is old beta by now. -
OA - Mission 03:Pathfinder - How do I call the UAV?
Hanzu replied to VyMajoris's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - OFFICIAL MISSIONS
It is possible that UAV was shot down or crashed into a mountain or hill. After that there is no UAV option. It is just realism factor not a bug. -
Dogs of War - NAPA with Prizrak - attack russian base
Hanzu replied to cobra5000's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - OFFICIAL MISSIONS
Why would you want to attack Russian base (in Vybor airport)? It will only result you nuked in the end of the campaign resulting one of the worst endings. -
This can also mean one of the following things: 1) Bardak has lost a vehicle and AFAIK he is not scripted to escape the mission area by walking. 2) Bardak has hit some obstable or run out of fuel and is just sitting in his car moving his wheel. 3) You have accidentally gone close enough Bardak to make him leave his initial scripted path and original vehicle, so he could be hiding somewhere like under gas station roof or inside a barn.

What patch are you using? Do not tell me you are using mods. I suspect Osprey behavior was affected by how early or how late you enter it. Also try parking your bikes in front of it to force it alter its course alredy in take off. Are you sure Osprey hits trees or is that just a assumption because mission ends and fails. In older patches Osprey tail hit Sabre team and making them injured and bleed to death are you sure it is not this what happens, because it may take time for mission to end. Bardak can be avoided by just running to a different direction when accidentally running into him if you stop or go after him and listen to the cutscenes mission will surely end. The good thing to run into him is that it removes the mission time limit and makes Bardak to hide somewhere in 1 km diameter area. It is hard to find her later after finishing collecting other 3 evidence, but not impossible.

Manhattam: Lagushina killed in traffic accident
Hanzu replied to kireta21's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - OFFICIAL MISSIONS
When Manhattan mission starts, it is possible to to stop her car before she drives from Gvozdno to Krasnostav. Just jump to first Humwee before going up to FOB Manhattan and drive to Gvozdno full speed and you will see her driving towards you in long curve leading to Krasnostav. She will not collide and is easily forced out of the road and out of the car. These events however will make you miss something else that is meant to be happen in the start of Manhattan mission like talking to Cpl. Smith. Car accidents and M1A1 tanks overruns are very rare and very unlikely to happen to a same player, but it is good to collect and escort her early just because there might be problems with the helicopter if it gets shot down or stuck somewhere. At 12:35 P.M. she is found at GPS COORS 106209 walking on on the right side of the road from Krasnostav to Gvozdno. At 14:50-15:00 P.M. she is found at Gvozdno standing northeast side of the red brick building at GPS COORS 085034 She has red hair pulled up, black knee lenght skirt, grey jacket and black shoes. Any other time search main road between Krasnostav and Gvozdno. Any other time search Gvozdno, Krasnostav, Krasnostav church, Olsha and the main road connecting them. -

Hanzu replied to swoop's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - OFFICIAL MISSIONS
Problem is in the faulty mission design and not a result of any beta. OMAC has tested this with lots of different patches and with all of resulting neverending mission. The unknown mission designer (all I know it someone else than Jezuro) seems not to have guts to step foward and admit he has no time to repair this crap. -
Doctor Sova can not be saved. I have tried to guard him right from the missions start and at certain time he is always lynched by mission script. Here is my bug report " Manhattan mission GPS COORDS 107029 Dr. Sova lynching will happen with cut down trees" for GPS COORDS location and the details. https://dev-heaven.net/issues/25658 Instead of that walkthrough you can get more detailed tips on my page. Do CTRL+F search for Manhattan there.

Dogs of War - Killed at Start
Hanzu replied to hellfiremonty's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - OFFICIAL MISSIONS
Using endmission cheat or any cheat is not recommended, because it messes up decisions that never happened because you ended mission early or that happened but were resetted because of this stupid endmission cheat feature. I have completed Harvest Red campaign 3 times now and never had to be tempted to use endmission cheats, so yes it is possible. This cheat was only meant to be used in the past (2009-2010) when some missions were so buggy that ending conditions did not work and if you ask me it should be disabled completely by now. In your case your allies see you as enemy, because the decision of alliances is all messed up. The text "The alliance between Guerillas and BLUFOR has ended" is not indication of something is wrong. It happens also without using endmission cheat and usually alliance is still formed after some progress in Dogs Of War. But it is also possible to play in a way that Dogs Of War starts with text saying "An alliance between Guerillas and BLUFOR has begun". -
Operation Phoenix from Operation Arrowhead
Hanzu replied to Milton520's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - OFFICIAL MISSIONS
The major choices I made in my storyline are these: I completed Coltan Blues saving the coltan mine complex, I completed Open Season eventually RTB'ing with the pilot safe and sound, I completed Sandstorm capturing the airport and in Eye Of The Typhoon I destroyed the SCUDs, saved the POWs and Eliminated Col. Aziz While playing cooperatively with friends my Operation Arrowhead Campaign went straight from mission 7: Eye Of The Typhoon to 9: Press Conference. Have not even heard about mission 8: Finishing Touch or 8: Operation Phoenix. You can browse my screenshots if you find something more that I did differently. -

In Dogs Of War I have bought over 300 men to a same team to test where is the limit. The limit is unknown for infantry units, since after 300 men lined behind me in hundreds of meters long V formation game started to be pretty sluggish with maximum graphics settings so I gave up buying more of them. In Badlands I have also had certainly more than 12 in one team. About 30 the last time I played it. In both Badlands and Dogs Of War you are more likely to run into maximum limit of vehicles: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/25636 BTW. Good tip for Badlands if you ever play it again is to play it on CDF side and drive HQ APC and conquer Rogovo and Pogorevka with it. Then drive it to hills south of Stary Sobor, convert it as HQ building and start to flood down BRDM-2s downhill to Stary Sobor and later to Novy Sobor. When playing Badlands in NAPA side HQ APC seems not to be driveable. The difference of drivable and non-drivable may be a bug or just design.

Thanks for the tips will try tohose browser things. I edited my last post and moved opinions to another place.

Never mind of NAPA squads. They are always annihilated when capturing towns 2, 3 and 4. Usually some of them are still with me in the third one. Build barracks and buy AT specialists to run with you. Buy Empty BRDM-2 and use it for yourself. Ignore capturing stongpoints just go for the main base from the right direction to get the town.

New Forums: Feedback thread - Bugs/Suggestions here please.
Hanzu replied to Placebo's topic in BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE: Web-Pages
In Arma2 Operation Arrowhead forums I see a lack of a sub forum for reporting all bugs and not only those that are considered as serious. Problem with TROUBLESHOOTING forum is that who are we poor members to judge what bug is serious enough to be reported there. Something that is serious for you may not be serious for someone else so this guideline is seems very relative. Also this subforum has many sticky threads (14 of them) and is flooded by hardware and driver issues and especially performance issues, so with all those things combined when someone reports bug there it will soon be sent away from page 1 to page 2 and beyond before most people even see it and can react, confirm or deny the bug and give feedback. Problem with BETA PATCH TESTING subforum is that it is not officially a place for bug reports even though it has become one. Originally it was meant for reporting beta patch bugs only but everyone hanging around there knows lot of non-beta patch bugs gets reported there too. Another problem using this subforum for any patch bug reporting is that pretty much nobody will read it a beta thread after it is not the newest beta thread anymore. Not to mention to do a forum search in there. So even good bug reports get lost in time there. Problem with OFFICIAL MISSIONS forum is that it contains a lot of unofficial old bug reports, but it is not so common place for the developers or active moderators to hang around after game gets older than few months and all the most active forumers move away playing something other than official content. Also bug reports there are easily hidden inside gameplay tips and questions. So it takes a lot of time to read to dig them up. Ofcourse it has its moments also in bugfixing, as an example thanks for someone who stickied my thread there, because that really helped many content bug fixes to be released with 1.11 patch. Next one is more of CIT issue and but let me add it here too to see how the forum and CIT needs each other and how CIT could never remove the importance of the forums as another bug reporting place. Problem with CIT beeing the primary place for report bugs is a lack of discussion there and the fact that search engine of Redmine is very poor compared to the forum search options of the forums. Before you report it is absolutely vital that you check if bug has been already reported and when you want to find some issues with some keyword it is hard and you can never trust to what category most people put their tickets or if we CIT managers have all new ones arranged fast enough. Another problem in CIT is abandoned tickets. Making a default of everyone that everyone who write something to some CIT ticket would automatically become watchers would increase activity and get more feedback. In forum a thread that gets new replys gets pumped up, but in CIT it will not bump up in a same way. So no new disussion will arise as it could. Well maybe this is intended to make tickets less "wall of text"-style which will take a lot of time to read for the devs with limited time to fix something. Of all possible improvements in the forums I would separate TROUBLESHOOTING to two different with titles BUGREPORTING (with possible links to CIT ofcourse) and TROUBLESHOOTING OF HARDWARE/DRIVER/PERFORMANCE where those poor FPS issues and something like that which have nothing to do with bugs could go bothering those who like to troubleshoot them. As a bugfixing activist and one of the CIT managers I personally am very tired on going to TROUBLESHOOTING section at all since there are so many posts where people just want to troubleshoot their performance issues which could easily solved by one thing which is money - buying better gear and stop complaining. One more thing is to look how short forum title are and when most of us have high resolution wide screen displays there is a long line of empty space behind the titles. It is clear that there are many newbies who only read forum title with dark red capitalized text but not the small sized black text description and this results more threads in wrong place. I understand changes like these are kind of major, but please consider taking some good out of this feedback if you see any point in it. If not for Arma 2 then Arma 3 forum section maybe. -
The thread has gone away from original topic so much that I also want to contribute to opinions. EDIT: Moved my feedback to a place where I think it belongs.

Let me add that there an armory inside FOB Manhattan where you can take weapons from crates and load them to your gear or preferably to vehicles gear which is much bigger. The armory is located behind Cpt. Shaftoes back and before UAV terminal. Always take all Javelins and SMAWs if nothing else.
