CIT report should include information if bug exists in SP or MP-cooperative or in both. How to report Campaign category bugs Issues titles should start with short version of campaign name: = Harvest Red [OA] = Operation Arrowhead [EW] = Eagle Wing [bAF] = British Armed Forces [PMC] = Private Military Company ...and be followed with mission name This is one of the hardest categories to reproduce because it usually requires a lot of playing and in cooperative-only issues it requires another human player and internet or LAN too. Also savegames are not so useful for repro since they soon become incompatible with next patch, but attach them if you have them. How to report World category bugs Issue titles should start with map name and GPS COORDS. This helps to keep issues sorted out in alphanumeric order and it also makes issues to be sorted in west-east order when looking at the map. Filling out Hardware and software specs are not important for World category since usually those issues has nothing to do with them. I have personally renamed all World category titles to include map name and GPS COORDS and provided screenshots for all that had none. Only future will tell if fixed versions of Chernarus, Zargabad or Takistan maps will ever be released. So do not expect too much when reporting issues of this category. When you play official missions remember World category bugs have also sightseeing value since they are supernatural or funny mostly. ;)
  2. Dogs Of War objective Deal with Russions puzzles me... It previously completed when I completed Transfer Lopotev and eliminated ambushing Spetznaz rebels, BUT this time I wanted to see if could just walk to Russians after all towns are captured and use diplomacy to convince them to leave. In my first and so far the only try I happily walked to the northwestern airfield to find them. I saw one of their tanks and peacefully walked towards it and BLAM! they blasted me like I would be the most dangerous man of Armauniverse. Anyone else tried to go to meet them peacefully and without Lopotev? BTW. Russian base is not near Krasnostav airfield like written in objective briefing. Instead it is right about where Russian flag is in the map near unnamed airfield. Consider it some bad Army intelligence or a bug. It is silly that Diplomacy menu always shows OPFOR: Hostile if it cannot be changed before mission already ends.
  3. There is no AAV APC or any other friendly APC for you to use in Razor Two mission. I used to let Razor Team member drive for me in Humwee. Just get in at any other set than driver's set and then order Razor Team to get in. And see what the Razor Team member who gets in to the driver's seat. Then open map, click F2, F3 or F4 (depending who is the driver), choose move and click map where. AI should start moving. Make sure you have no mods running. What patch version are you using? Have you tried changing AI awareness modes? Are you sure Humwee is not damaged by helicopter experiments or something?

  6. Jesus saves you and does not need saving. ;) Well must have been Peter then if he sank after some time. Seriously CIT the issue now when ACR team is still probably preparing bunch of other fixes, since I believe there must be a area limit for civilian spawn that can be changed to guarantee all civilians can be be found. If you found this bug so fast, we can expect others to stuble on it too.

  8. Good that you solved it. From the place where NAPA driver leaves you it is best to make a big anticlockwise circle all they way up to highest ground between Novy Sobor and Stary Sobor. Lie down in bushes if you hear a helicopter and order hold fire. If enemy APC comes from Stary Sobor area, do the same. When you approach Novy-Stary road turn back east and approach town from west-southwest direction and meet 3 NAPA people. BTW. In this subforum only spoiler tags are not needed.

  13. 1.60 saves are incompatible with 1.61, but campaign progress is compatible so you only need to restart one mission to continue campaign.

  17. The bug that you describe is not even the worst one for Freedom Fighters. OMAC and kju have done a huge job trying to troubleshoot this mission. See this https://dev-heaven.net/issues/18491. The mission was already fixed partially fixed by a mission designer who is not the original mission designer but who was given predefined time from highest BIS authority to fix tens of old campaign and mission bugs for other missions. Unfortunately time ran out when Freedom Fighters was still not fully working and the designer had to continue on newer BIS projects. I totally undestand that, but still it is sad that this mission seems to be totally abandoned by the original mission designer who made it, I guess he is even more busy which is bad since we would need his help since fixes made to it have changed the functionality so much that I guess we all have lost the original idea what conditions should be achieved for it to end. I believe BIS answer something close to that they are not promising to do more data fixes for old Arma2 stuff and mainly only those fixes for engine and AI that benefit A3 and TOH, but occasionally they fix some old Arma2 data too, but that needs a lot of intrest showing, good reproducing steps and any other information that might speed up the fixing process from the community to get something done. --- As personal opinion I will not get tired to emphasize how important even, when looking at the marketing, it is to keep official campaigns and missions working if new features break them. It is always a big turnoff for especially new players who just recently bought Arma2 from Steam or something and they run into something they can't workaround. So some of them feel their freetime was robbed when they wanted to finish something and could not, due some showstopped bug like Freedom Fighters neverending bug. Players often buy games recommended by their friends and well if the impression is bad due bugs then it is bad marketing. I have friends who have abandoned Arma2 due bugs and it is very hard to convince them to try again and even if they would be convinced to try again, they may have lost their original intrest and directed it to some other game meanwhile. I have played computer games since 1984 and well all I can say, nothing is more irritating than bugs that prevent you from finishing some original game, original campaign or original mission. As long as A2 is sold it should also have at least one who would be assigned to fix it. If fixing stops some day, maybe considering giving away fixing rights for missions to the community would be a good idea in form of custom patches only fixing data but not touching engine.

    Something missing in Badlands

    When playing NAPA side white car should arrive driving south-north road from Vyshnoye either when you have captured Novy Sobor (the first village from east) or when you have captured Stary Sobor (the second village from east) main bunker. They will usually stop where close to where you are. I have seen them near HQ at Novy Sobor and southeast of Stary Sobor main bunker. When playing CDF side white car should arrive driving west-east road from Vyshnoye when you have captured Rogovo (the first village from south) and talked to the villagers and Father Fyodor. They usually drive all they way up to a cleared field east of Rogovo. If you do not find them when playing NAPA side, go to Vyshnoye driving north-south road and see where they are stuck. Look for white car. BTW. Enemy attacking Vysnoye can be surprised before they start to move by attacking them from southwest hill and hammering them while they have barely started to move. Use HQ APC and build some weapons. Then deploy HQ building later so you can produce units to attack last two towns remaining.

  20. Place what you mean is probably at GPS COORDS 114079. It is not a lake since lakes have blue names in Chernarus map and this one has no name since it is a small pond south of a factory located in the halfway of Polina-Orlovets road in North-South route closest village is indeed Dolina, but if someone tests this do not start at Dolina it is a long way from there to walk. Tested all rocks and rockfences in that area and did not manage to get stuck. Probably you mean rocks east side of the bond that are black on main map and green in GPS. Also it would be improtant to know from what direction did you approach, did you stand, crouch or crawl, did you reverse and so on. I can investigate, but only with more information. There has been several reports of DayZ characters beeing stuck in some places, maybe it is because of a character and not because of the world. If this turns out not to be world issue and instead a mod issue then it there is no support for it here and instead

  24. Exit HQ APC and then construct HQ by standing next to HQ APC and using its action menu instead of beeing inside it yourself. The game gets confused when HQ APC which can be entered changes as HQ building which can not be entered, so game moves character to some default location which in this case is at sea.
