I'm not in favour of the 'future' setting nor the fanciful storyline, but comparing it to GRAW? C'mon man that's just plain nonsense. Matter of fact it will be more similar in characteristics to VBS2 than any other game on the market.

It will be strictly ArmA3 for me, for the same reasons I no longer play OFP. I'm confident ArmA3 will easily surpass ArmA2 in terms of performance and features, hopefully the new engine will allow the modding Gods to create mods even more superior to the wonderful creations they have so generously shared with the ArmA2 community.

My brother gave me a copy of Frozen Synapse today. It rocks! Seriously it's one of the best games I've ever played, I didn't have high expectations because I hadn't heard anything about it before but it really impressed me. I love formulating tactical plans. The troops are armed with machine guns, shotguns, sniper rifles, grenades and rockets. Timing is very important. Waypoints, range, stillness, aiming, cover, speed, aiming arcs, destructible cover and much much more all need to be taken into consideration during the planning phase. Don't be put off by the simple looking graphics, this game will truly test your tactical thinking.

I'm tipping that if someone were to conduct a poll 100 percent of the Arma community would be in favour of accurate hit effects, it would really raise the ArmA experience to a whole new level.

The market is already overflowing with braindead shoot-em-ups. I strongly disagree, Bohemias adherance to realism is what attracts most people to ArmA. I agree the menu system is complicated and a improved structure would be more desirable, but quite frankly I think steering the ArmA series in the 'run n gun' direction is a ridiculous idea and would ruin Bohemias reputation. If they want to go in that direction it would be best to simply drop the ArmA title and start something fresh.
