  1. Thanks for the quick reply, that method seems to have worked for OA, as the main menu has @CBA in the top right-hand corner, but there is no indication that it's worked for Arma II. I'm not sure what I've done wrong, I've even repeated the same steps for the Arma II folder but with no luck.
  2. I've been playing for a few months now, and wanted to get a more realistic experience and add some new units, but I'm having trouble installing the Community Base Addons. I purchased Arma II and OA on Steam as Combined Operations, but both games have their own folders within the steamapps/common folder. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit. Once I've downloaded the CBA, how do I install the mod?

    Badlands - Squad Managment

Ah, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks a lot for the feedback
  4. Sorry for the stupid question, but when playing "Badlands" I've not been able to find a way to replenish the CDF squads under my command. The fourth squad (UAZs) is wiped out after the second village, and my infantry squads are losing men, and I don't know how to reinforce them. Is it possible to assign men to squads under your command? I can't find a way to recruit units other than into my own squad, and it's making it impossible to do the mission. Any advice? Thanks
  5. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I have an Acer Aspire M3802, with 6GB of RAM, Intel Core Duo processor and an ATI Radeon HD 4380 graphics card. I can only play Arma 2 on low settings, and even then it's very laggy with a bad frame-rate. I'm thinking of getting a new graphics card, and I was wondering which would be the best to go for. I'm thinking ATI because of their good prices, but the reviews of the 4870, 4890 and 5770 have confused me! Does newer mean better? Which card (not just the ones I mentioned) should I go for? The benchmarks tell me I hit about 16fps on "low", with AA and postprocessing effects turned off, and on "very high" I can only manage 7fps. Will a new graphics card boost this significantly? Will I need to do anything else to boost the playability of Arma 2? Thanks for your help, any advice is much appreciated.
