Confirmed! Have had this happen to me several times in a row now.

I have the same problem. I managed to temporarily fix it by deleteing the Arma 3 folder in My Documents. It reproduces a new one after you press play next time. I managed to play for an hour or so in multiplayer, then the game crashed again. It's very strange indeed. The game worked perfect for me the first day, restarted/quit the game several times and it ran flawlessly until I had my first crash after 4-5 hours. After that, the game wouldn't even start anymore. Remember that your settings will be reset when you do this, so be warned!

Windows firewall is disabled, but I use AVira Antivirus software, have tried to disable it too but no sucess so far. Windows Vista 64. I do however use a router a Linksys, but I didn´t have any problems when I played arma2 or Operation arrowhead online, has anything changed in BAF since then?

Well my problem persists, and as you can see I miss some files in the BAF DLC, so everytime I try to connect to a server I get kicked/session lost/banned etc. No problems with my firewall/Antivirus. Have tried to redownload both the 1.54 patch and the BAF DLC twice and reinstalled, but I still get this error when installing the DLC.

No I use Avira, but I have tried to disable it and run as admin but no difference. I see a few servers when I press the multiplayer button, but on the left side there is a yellow ?-mark, used to be green when I played arma2 and OA, so clearly something is wrong.

Yeah the only sollution I can see right now is to reinstall everything except for the BAF DLC to be able to play the game online again, and that sucks big time :(

Any idea how to fix this? I bought the BAF on release day and havn´t been able to play it online since then, really annoying. Usually I get kicked from the servers and sometimes banned too, no other mods installed and I have the latest Battleye too.
