    This is a known feature of this mode. AI becomes very aggressive. Very good mode for firefights - but still work needs to be done on stealth.

    Light reflection in scope

    Sometimes when aiming towards a light source the reflections on the sight make it impossible to aim properly. The question is whether is it possible to "remove" the scope or the reflex-sight for a moment and leave only the original ironsight on the weapon.

    Getting killed by an invisible enemy in that mission I believe it is scripted on purpose to preserve the integrity of the story of the campaign. You are supposed to either take the route to CDF or to NAPA. If you ignore this choice and head towards the port then ...Boom

    I noticed that Friendly AI instead of jumping over fences runs through them as if there is nothing in the way. Is this a "feature" of the beta or has it been there from the beginning?

  10. Maybe this has been addressed before but how can one enable the crosshair in ACE mode? In my view, the crosshair has a purpose - and this is not assist aiming the weapon. It is to help figuring out the general direction where the weapon is looking and therefore when swiching to "sights" one does not have to spend like 5 seconds to rediscover the world but instead spend like 1-2 secs to accurately point the sight. IMO This is the only minus in this generally excellent mode.
  11. I have opened this thread because i did not manage to find any specific topic on the issue. The question is how do you deploy your unguided rockets to get best results? Do you opt for manual or auto fire? What is the recommended height and speed for rocket attacks? I guess that the rockets' cross-hair is the small circle in the HUD. How accurate is this and how useful can it be if the HUD is on the helmet as with the Apache?

  13. Just playing mission Open Season of the OA Campaign with CBA and GL4 enabled. When I attempt to switch from chopper to UAV view (open the submenu with ENTR and pressing the UAV option) the screen goes dark with only UAV showing at the upper left corner. The game freezes. Same with GL4 only (no CBA) No problem when I do the same with no CBA and no GL4. I have a CO installation Any more information?
  14. I have an Intel Quad 9300 and Nvidia GTX 275 with latest drivers and 4 GB memory running on Vista. Arma experience is very stable in general. I have a CO installation (latest patches). Except with GL4 in certain instances. For example game freezes when I switch from heli to UAV in the open season mission of OA and game becomes very very slow in response when in Dogs of War (orignal A2 campaign) I am the general commander and try to issue commands on the units from the map. Only modes active are CBA and GL4
  15. It was pure single player. Mods CBA and GL4 only. Playing A2 original campaign from CO I agree. the AI is great
  16. Great Mod. The only minus is that the game feels very heavy in large high command situations - for example when in high command mode in the "Dogs of War" Mission of the original A2 campaign. It runs smoothly with the vanilla edition + latest beta patch but with GL4 it becomes tooo slow and crashes.

    I had again this "out of memory" crash during an autosave of the A2 campaign...It had dispeared when I was playing the campaing from A2 standalone exe with latest patch

  20. I had the orignal A2 and installed OA in same directory resulting in a CO package. I notice that now there is an "Expansion" subfolder in the Arma 2 directory. However all my mods are still located in the .../Bohemian Interactive/Arma 2 directory. When I start CO and click "Expansion" from the start up menu, the game detects all my modes normally. I tried to test moving the modfolders in the Expansion subfolder but then, the game cannot "see" them. The question is whether this is normal and what is the purpose of the Expansion subfolder.

  22. I was playing BAF 2nd mission yesterday with everybody on board in the 2 APCs. When at some point I pressed SPACE (select all) and then 1-9 (move to next waypoint) suddenly two passengers of my APC (I was driver) disembarked and started moving on foot! :confused: Explanations?
