Hi,
I'm trying to decide wether to venture into Arma 2 or not so I have downloaded the demo of Operation Archer. I have kept all settings at default and during the tutorial after 2 or 3 minutes I 'drop' to desktop. When I try to get back to the game either via taskmanager or Alt + Tab or even clicking to the task bar icon desktop just blinks and remains.
I know the game is still running as taskmanager says so, also when I press the left mouse button I can still hear the 'dead mans click' from the rifle. But no matter what I do I cannot get the game to display.
Here are my system specs
Amd Phenom 2 Quad @ 3.2 gig
8 Gig Ram
Nvidia Gtx 280
Win 7 64
All drivers up to date and direct x running on the most current version (june release I think)
Any help would be much appreciated
Edit: The game looks and runs nicely before it drops leading me to believe the problem is not with my hardware.
