I LOVE THIS MOD. After downloading it a few days back i never thanked u guys. So..... thank youuuu I44 team ... You've made this week so much fun on Arma 2 for me. :D This mod and 31st mod aree soo madd!! Not long ago i made a short little test mission using both mods. I used, I44 C-47, 31st 101st infantry, I44 heer infantry and I44 flak 36's and other little things... The mission looked so epic... it was Mass airborne drop mission obviously... I used like 20+ C-47's and filled them with 101st airborne units, and it loooked soo real. it basically looked exactly like there were thousands of troops dropping in.. unfortunately as soon as i hit the ground my computer overclocked and i got "mass" lag.. :( lol

what exactly is meant to happen. the planes fly straight over the island, and not one unit ejects?? Perhaps add some triggers and simple scripting that will force all units in the planes cargo to eject. Your looking at something like this to do the job: Paradrop Script Template Just use the template, copy it over to the I44 Omaha map, and change all the units to I44 units.... planes, units... raa raa raa. Other than that... this mission could be really good. I love those mass para-drop missions. i like making my own but i like to see what others make. Good luck. hope i helped. :D :bye:

hmm, i think its about time someone should start to think about making WWII USMC and Japanese units... including, all tanks, vehicles and aircraft... and a nifty pacific island to go with it.. something sorta like Peleliu, Tarawa, Guadalcanal or iwo jima... Anyone of those.. (personal favorite would be iwo jima) Who knows, maybe the 31normandy or I44 team will convert over to pacific theater.. (Doubt it lol) Would be bloody epic imo though.

yeah, that done the trick. For those with the same problem, unpack the pbo with anyone of these tools: cpbo pbo view or Eliteness Then open up the PHCAMPAIGN file, then open up the "description.ext" with note pad. Then scroll down until you find this And where it says "PH_Troy_C3.Desert;" Change it to "PH_Troy_C3.Desert_E" by simple adding "_E". "Desert_E" is the actual name of the island, so the game isn't recognizing "desert". Hope that helps those that don't wanna wait until kiki updates AGAIN. ;)

nope, just opened it up. everything seems to be fine still. "ph_troy_c3.desert" I too get that crash, error in campaign structure.

kool thanks, i will download and play "escape" again and see if it works on my end. Oh and for those that have lots of other little bugs, most of them are caused by addon conflicts. I Turnt every addon off, except the ones required, and the campaign played smoothly e.g. ACE is a good example. On the first mission, to radio tower wouldn't blow up. Turnt ACE off, and it worked fine. Thanks again kiki

can't get pass the mission where your base is being attacked by BMP's and u have to run to the bunker (alpha). Get to Alpha...... but nothing happens. I stood in the bunker for a long time. the explosions stopped.... now all i hear is gun fire and I've been sitting there for like 20 mins and the mission doesn't continue.. is this a bug or have i missed something that i need to? do

map crashes game, :( thats just too bad. Was looking forward to this map. I have African foliage, still crashes. :(:(:(:(

wats the ETA on this one? im gettin so eager to make an epic russian tank mission... :( but unfortunately i cannot, because the russian tanks don't load ion the editor, and they are under opfor? or is this just my version... Coz ive got alot of weird problems with this mod, all the units are all messed up and in different sides, soviets r under independent? And the soviets that are in blufor all have Ak - 47s?? Textures not loading on some models... etc. orrrr is wat i just said a beta releases? and they will be fixed in the next versions to come? :/

Ok, so two days ago, i could play Arma 2... smoothly. Then One day ago, i went to install the latest GT 9800 driver. Then my computer wouldn't turn on, So i chucked it in safe mode, and by instinct a new that it was the new driver causing this. So i went into device manager, found my graphics card, uninstalled the driver update... then my graphics card wasn't in device manager anymore?? But anyways, it fixed the problem of win 7 not turning on. Then i installed the new driver AGAIN, and it installed fine.. well... half of it installed, the phyX thingy (forgot wat its called) didn't install, but the driver update, and the 3d thing installed fine.. Ok, so now when i try to run Arma 2, this pops up: "Display adapter does not support format D24S8 for X8R8G8B8" The game won't run, I did a quick Google search and found a topic on these forums, but it told me to go into dxdiag, then turn direct draw on... Did this, but it says direct draw is unavailable. Would anyone be as kind as to look into this for me and help me out, i miss Arma already lol Thanks in advance, ---------- Post added at 01:40 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:38 PM ---------- Alright, stuff that driver update up its A$$, computer just froze up on boot screen when i restarted it. So went into safe mode again, uninstalled that driver update. Computer turned on fine after that. This has gone too far now, i think i might take this problem to a computer tech forum or win 7 forum. Atm im currently using win XP, as my computer has two Operating systems. (thank god) but i would still like to fix win 7, as win XP is SLOW and UNSTABLE for me.

Hey, has anyone got a exact replica of FOB Arizona from BAF... well i think it was called Arizona.. or was that OA Can't remember. wellll anyways, the FOB from BAF. Or does anyone know how i could rip it out of the BIS game somehow.. i really need that FOB template for a mission. I already have a FOB that i downloaded, but that's at the Other airfield (US FOB, or OA FOB). Would be very kind Thanks in advance.

I can't seem to use any ACE equipment. Things like: earplugs, goggles, balaclavas, gasmasks... well, basically every thing. Config edit? yes, i have put my profile name in the right spot, click save, click "over write",then "access denied" comes up. So, i try to work around this, buy moving that config file to a safe file, delete the one in ace file, then click save on notepad, ra ra ra... so basically i created a new one with the same contents as the original one. It worked, saved and all. Start up ArmA 2 CO.. Equipment is still not showing up in action menu or any another menu in-game. Yes i have looked just about everywhere for a solution, But no topic is close enough to give me an exact answer. Would be very helpful and much appreciated for any help, Thanks in advance.
