Hoi, I don't know how it's called and cannot find anything related to it. So be gentle.. At the start of the Harvest red campaign there is a selection menu to choose if you want to do a training. In the top left of your screen there is a kind of hint with the option yes and no. How do I make something like that? I now have some training objectives and I know that some people doesn't like them so I want them to give the option to skip them . But how...:o -

The names of the text when I scroll I changes, but can I change the text that will be showed in the center of the screen? Now it's the same as _tut1. I want that text to be different then _tut1, the text when you scroll. And can the scroll menu already be open, instead of scrolling first? And a box around the text? Like in the campaign? Thanks for your help, much appreciated :D -

Ow really? thought it was only normal conversation text ;) Because I use this conversation system for the story, for the storytelling. Any idea's for a quick start to get it running? What Demonized mentioned is also really helpfull. Going to use that deffinitly. Got it already running ;), but if I can use the otherone neokika mentioned I use that one for this and the other for other things. Just had a great idea for it... EDIT: Just downloaded the testmission, but it's the same way as Demonized. ---------- Post added at 02:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:24 PM ---------- @Demonized How can I change the text appering at the start. It now shows the same name as the first option I can choose from. -

I'll try to explain. I've got a mission that's actually is a trainings mission. I've got 3 trainings objectives and the 4th is a objective were at the place a bomb will be triggered. I want to give the player the option to skip the 3 trainings objective, but they need to do the 4th objective, because it's part of my campaign story. So I need something to skip the 3 objectives with this selection menu. Because it's looks nice ;) So I can use it direct at the start of the mission. Then it skips the 3 objectives and only the last objective is visible or not cancelled or something.. And I saw theat it is only for SP. So I cannot use it for COOP (host)? -

Regular there appering some blue text (old conversation system) instead of white text (new conversation system). Any idea what that is? (offtopic ;)) -

Take a look in the addons folder from the original game. Probably on your C:/ Then unPBO it with 'euhm' unPBO... ? -
Hai, Really can't find the solution. Very frustating, maby a very stupid question and need some sleep, but... :butbut: I have a group in the editor. I named the teamleader squad1. I want to set the damage to 1.0, but then only the teamleader dies. I tried diffent things with group function in script and editor, but can't get it to work. Anyone knows something...

I used an explosion of size 4. 1 has no problems with performence drop. I will PM you soon with the alpha build of the mission so you can see what happens. The units are in stand possition on a hill at Utes. greetz.. and get some sleep ;) -

Try this one, I made this camaign and had good reactions so it should be good. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=109533 And what missioncreep said. There are all the good missions but also very good campaigns. A community top 5 campaign etc. Have a nice time... It has a bit of all these points: Realism Respawn or save Long mission or campaign Not too much AI handling -

okay some feedback as promissed.. Big performence drop with bigger explosion. Very slow movement activity. Tanks and all will get destroyed. Units standing next to it, not. alot stays alive (not all do, some die, some injured, some nothing). Hope you can fix it, before me campaign release :rolleyes: -

I really cannot find a sollution for this. Hope someone knows it... I have some intro's and I want them playing one after another. See below: When you use cutscene = Introduction.utes; for one intro it's no problem. class Chapter1 { name = "Going"; cutscene = Introduction.utes; firstMission = BOBbob; end1 = ; end2 = ; end3 = ; end4 = ; end5 = ; end6 = ; lost = ; etc... but I want more cutscenes/intro's after one another. I cannot put cutscene = Introduction.utes; 2 or 3 times in the description. It gives an error. And I do not want it to show up in the missionslist like PMC: <cutscene>. If I want that i put them in as missions. I do know that. So this doesn't work: class Chapter1 { name = "Going"; cutscene = Introduction.utes; cutscene = Intro.utes; cutscene = cutscene.utes; firstMission = BOBbob; end1 = ; end2 = ; end3 = ; end4 = ; end5 = ; end6 = ; lost = ; etc... I used pstimerstart=true; instead of psstarttimer=true; Thats why it didn't work. And I figured it out how to get the objective completed or failed. Put this at the end of the script: if (_timer >= 1 ) then {"1" objStatus "DONE"; tskobj1 setTaskState "SUCCEEDED"; obj_1 = true; savegame;}; if (_timer < 1 ) then {hint "boehoe";}; -

Are you sure you combined arma 2 and arma 2 OA the right way? They need to work together, not seppered... Because you need the maps Utes and Takistan... And is this version: V1.03 hotfix the first version of this campaign or do you updated it? Because if you updated it, there is a small % you need to delete the older campaign/savegames. Happens me ones. Let me know if it helps... -

That didn't do it. I put pstimerstart=true; in a trigger at start and pstimerstart=false; in the end trigger. I put the script in the timer.sqf The time keeps running and stops at 1. And if it going to stop, where do I put the task completed code and if failed the failed code? I really hope there is an answere to this...:butbut:
