  2. After playing through this mission 3 or 4 times, I have never gotten any sort of error. I use only 4 satchel charges set next to the (I guess) white transformer boxes. There are more than 4 of them, I think 8 but, I just pick 4 at random (2 on each row) Lights go out and that part of the mission updates. I have never tried it any other way as it worked the first time and every time after that.
  3. I had the same problem, I failed to stay in the AO a dozen or more times before aiming directly for the marker and finally ended up hitting the ground between the power plant and the motel. Seems strange dropping in amongst the enemy instead of getting a chance to scope the area out before making a move.

    No need to apologize. Black Gold was fun to play, rescued the hostages, got my squad aboard the chopper, went back for a wounded team mate (he died carrying him to the chopper), pilot couldnt wait for whatever reason and took off without me. Mission was a success, even if it didnt technically end.

    Played Black Gold today. Everything went well. I did get left behind by the chopper though when I ordered my squad to board it while I carried an AI squadmate to the chopper. Guess the pilot didnt want to wait for me because he took off with the rest of the squad aboard. Mission didnt finish and the chopper wouldnt land again to pick me up.

    Just wanted to say these missions are crazy ass fun. Played 3 or 4 of them last night. Learned a couple things. Disassemble doesnt equal destroy, and dont shoot a tank in the face with a rocket from 20 metres away.
  7. Ok, Wow. Better than the official campaigns by far. Everything worked flawlessly for me. Couple of things were strange and havent seen anyone else say anything about them. In the first mission, about 40% of the enemy patrols were tagged as friendly (playing regular difficulty, tags on). Even though they were hunting me/traveling with the enemy. They didnt change to enemy tags until I was within about 90 metres of them. AI squad wouldnt shoot them and when I sniped one, I was instantly killed by my own squad. Some also showed up as friendly kills in the stats. It seemed to be completely random as to which ones would show in stats as friendly. Only the first mission was like this, in the second all troops were tagged correctly.

    Cipher: Valleys of the Takiban

    Not sure if this is still being updated but, I have been playing the hell out of this mission. Ok, this is the only mission I have been playing the last couple of weeks. I, for one, love the secops addition. 90% of the time, I never finish the main task due to doing the side stuff but, it doesnt bother me. A few things I have noticed though: Choppers and jets dominate the map. It is not unusual to shoot down 3 enemy choppers within 2 or 3 minutes and still see 4 or more enemy in the air. and an equal number of friendlies. Destroy convoy missions end up finished long before I can set an ambush. In most cases, two or three choppers converge on the convoy and blow it to hell as soon as it spawns. Conversely, armored mechanized are non-existent. I can go for the entire mission and not see a single off-road, bmp, truck, except for civilian. Task Force: I was surprised to not see an option for anything but a 10 man force. Getting my AI squad to do anything was impossible until yesterday. They wouldnt change formation, wouldnt shoot, were strung out for 300 metres behind me until, I sent them one by one to rearm at the supply truck. I know they come equipped with weapons and ammo but, they dont seem to use it until the player opens their gear after which, they were more than happy to change formation and shoot everything that wasnt friendly or civilian.
