That's a pretty piss poor reason to be honest. You're getting all in a huff about what one line of text (truthfully) said? I'm sensing a lot of resentment towards PR:ArmA2 and Project Reality in general. It's quite pathetic really. I'll leave it at that.

A few of you are a little thick in the head. That or you are just biased against PR:ArmA2 for whatever reason; frankly, I don't care. I'll try to enlighten you all, so listen closely. 1.) MODDB is hosting its annual, "Mod of the Year" award. (MODDB - Top 100) 2.) There are two categories, "Released" and "Upcoming." Are you following so far? 3.) PR:ArmA2 is featured in the "Upcoming" category and is the only ArmA II mod in the running. They (PR:ArmA2) are not stating that they're the only ArmA II mod deserving of the title. The fact is, they're the only ArmA II mod in the running (both in the "Released" and "Upcoming" categories) and are asking for your votes to not only help them win the title, but to bring a little recognition to the ArmA franchise. Some of you need to pull your heads out of the ground, because at the moment, the only ones that look like asses are yourselves. Vote or don't, either way, stop with all the bullshit. Edit: Oh, and just to be perfectly clear, I am not affiliated with PR:ArmA2 in any way, shape, or form. So don't bother crying out "fanboi", because you'll just look like an idiot.

    I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet. Well, there's been some more progress on the 20km x 20km map, Wardak Province. http://s1.postimage.org/j7nue4n1p/arma2oa_2010_11_24_17_45_31_57.jpg http://s1.postimage.org/j7nfiailp/arma2oa_2010_11_24_17_43_15_78.jpg http://s1.postimage.org/j7n3xj359/arma2oa_2010_11_24_17_40_34_14.jpg http://s1.postimage.org/j7ugjim5p/arma2oa_2010_11_24_18_23_18_16.jpg http://s1.postimage.org/j7tq2x299/arma2oa_2010_11_24_18_18_28_95.jpg http://s1.postimage.org/j7n29zqnh/arma2oa_2010_11_24_16_51_07_68.jpg http://s1.postimage.org/j7nnrz92l/arma2oa_2010_11_24_17_44_36_28.jpg http://s1.postimage.org/j7tjgroa5/arma2oa_2010_11_24_18_17_55_58.jpg
  7. Hello all, To start with, I would like to apologize ahead of time if this thread may be a duplicate in some way, or if it has been posted in the wrong section of the forums, or both. I had initially searched for an introduction thread for new members of some sort, but alas, my results proved fruitless. Anyways, my name is Chris and I am a testing team member for the Battlefield 2 modification, Project Reality. Being a realism junkie, I enjoy PvP games where teamwork and maturity are strongly encouraged, while still promoting fun and interesting game-play. I spend the majority of my gaming time playing on the Project Reality - Tactical Gamer server. I have always been intrigued by the ArmA series and what they've had to offer compared to your run-of-the-mill FPS. I've been wanting to try them out for some time, but up until recently, I have not had a computer capable of meeting its system requirements. Luckily for me, I have since purchased a beast of a computer and am now able to try out ArmA 2 in all its glory. In fact, I have just finished downloading and trying out the ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead demo. From what I've seen, I'm quite impressed; all of the negative connotations I've heard over the years about the game didn't seem too prevalent in-game. Of course, this is subject to change over time as I try out the game more in-depth. I come from a mod where the developers are fully involved with their community and seek to work with them to achieve a common goal. I am happy to know that this holds true for Bohemia Interactive and their products as well. I intend on purchasing ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead for the release of PR: ArmA 2 and look forward to getting more involved with the community. Respectfully yours, Chris (A.K.A. Silly_Savage)
