So this might sound like an odd request but is there any way to make this persistent? I've been out of the loop for a long time, not really played a lot since ArmA2. However I was wondering if there was a way to make this work like some MSO missions used to back in A2? Some of the best moments my little group of friends had in ArmA2 were the week long sessions hopping in and out missions with it remember our set of gear, leaving AARs in the base, etc. I don't know if this is beyong the scope of what DCG offers, but is it possible?

Doh. Well I feel silly now. Thanks man! :D

So uhm? I'm not sure what I just read? Is this mod dead now? I can't seem to download it anymore. Dropbox link just throws up a 404. Any help? Thanks!

All in Arma (AiA) - TKOH/OA/A2/A1 merge with A3
pika replied to .kju's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Is it possible to run other user made mods with AiA? I personally would absolutely LOVE to be able to run around CLAfghan again in ArmA3, but I have no idea how to go about getting them all to work and play nice together. If anyone could run me through it, assuming it's possible, i'd very much appreciate it! (Everything installed Via SIX if that's going to change anything!) Thanks! :D -
To get Combined Ops running via the steam downloads, do exactly this: 1: Download and install ArmAII 2: Download and Install ArmAII: Operation Arrowhead. 3: Run ArmAII on it's own. Quit out once you see the main menu. 4: Run Operation Arrowhead, select "Run as Combined Ops" on the pop up that appeard. You're done. Optional 4a: You can confirm you are running as Combined Ops by clicking "Single Player" then "Editor" and then when presented with the map list, you will see AT LEAST the following: Takistan, Zargabad, Utes and Cherneraus. There may be more and that's fine as long as you can see those 4. Enjoy your Combined Ops. 5: Post a lovely nice thank you right here to me ^^ You can play on any CO servers. If you wish to play on ArmA:Free servers, perform these 2 additional steps: 6: Download ArmA:Free 7: When you wish to play with friends playing in ArmA:Free, launch that instead. Operation Arrowhead is _NOT_ compatible with A2:Free last time I checked. A2 without OA is on an older version of the engine. I have to wonder why sims always have so many versions and updates. I had silly problems with DCS D:

So I hate to ask about something that seems almost secondary to the amazing game itself, but I noticed that while I purchased the P&C Supporters club, there isn't anything with my name like other users have? The store says i've purchased the correct thing, yet i'm not seeing it here. Wondering if i've bought the wrong one now? Is there anything specific you need to do before hand?

I've personally only JUST got into the beta, played for about 2 hours and I am in LOVE. Brilliant game, loving it to bits. I can't gush enough right now. >.>

Multi-Session Operations v4.1 released
pika replied to wolffy.au's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - USER MISSIONS
Hey Highhead! First off, been loving your little take on MSO, but I THINK I might have found a bug in the whole thing in the last RC you released. In the settings reduce Enemy intensity to Disabled, and enable Patrol Ops. Once you start the initilization stalls at spawning enemies (I think) and the map won't have enemies or Patrol Ops enabled, which is a shame. Just thought i'd make you aware of it ^^ Keep up the great work guys! Looking forward to this in the final release. -

I will love you with my WHOLE FACE if you release this. Something my own group of friends has been asking for for a long long time and none of us are very well versed with the editor. *HUGE PUPPY LOOK* Pweasee~? -
Missions/Campaigns to enjoy OA 1.60 the best way?
pika replied to NIKO MY CUZIN's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - USER MISSIONS
Come on now, that's not fair. ;) It's a user made mission pack, that a fan made for free in his spare time so people could enjoy it. When you consider that, it's pretty impressive! In response to the OP though, I actually found the BAF storyline to be pretty enjoyable! PMC and Eagle Wing are both shockingly high quality and enjoyable, too. I know it's rare for someone to recommend the pre-installed missions in a simulator, but there you go :D -
So I have a request for a mission, and i'm rather ashamed to ask, but here goes: My request is really simple: Is anyone able to add MSO to this map: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=14455 i've tried it myself, and honestly, it's just beyond me i'm afraid. I know someone in the MSO 4.0 list made a set of locations for the map (Named Kellskitchen) but... well if anyone could do this, i'd seriously seriously love you forever. Thank you ^^

Multi-Session Operations v4.0 released
pika replied to tupolov's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - USER MISSIONS
Hey man, I appreciate the offer, but there really is no "Mission" there in there yet. It was more setting up the frame-work and trying to just make sure MSO would work on the map at all. Is no biggie though, with 4.1 out I'm sure we'll have boat loads more fun back on good old Takistan! :D -

Multi-Session Operations v4.0 released
pika replied to tupolov's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - USER MISSIONS
So, Wolffy, can I be hugely cheeky and ask a HUGE favour? Is there any chance this can be ported over to the Sangin Province map (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=14455) in the future? I've been trying to get it working myself, but i'm no coder nor editor. While following your Developers help documentation I got caught up on the following while setting up the Functions Module (This is lifted DIRECTLY from the Documentation): Init=â€BIS_fnc_locations = compile preprocessFileLineNumbers "CA\modules\functions\systems\fn_locations.sqf" I have not altered that in any way and it, unfortunatly just spits errors at me. Not sure where i'm going wrong. If anyone can make this map work with BAF forces in the South Western FOB, I will love you forever. :D In other news, myself and my little group of friends are LOVING MSO. Easily some of the most fun we've had with ArmA2 in a LONG time :D -

Can anyone help me out with this? I've put some of the missions on our dedicated server, but when I select it, I see the server countdown and when it hits 0, it just stops and nothing happens. I have set persistent=1 in the config and i'm not really sure what else to do. Any help would be very much apprciated, thanks! :D EDIT: Scratch that. Needs CBA running. Might want to point that out, everywhere i've looked says this has no requirments. Would seem it does! -
Just been talking about this with a friend, both of us are very excited but just realised something. If Codemasters own the rights to the name and voices in the game (Hence why the ArmA2 remake of CWC has it's poll, right?) Does this mean the version we'll be getting on this disk is Flashpoint: Elite? The same one that was on the original Xbox? The one where they made enemies much easier to see (Russians wear bright white vests!) and re dubbed all the voices? It has the typical standard and quality of voice acting me all know and 'love' (Love you guys really!) from BI but I've recently been playing it again, and WOW it's easy. Either A2\ACE\ACRE has turned me into some elite killing machine, or the game is drastically easier. BI: Are we going to be getting the good old original O:FP in all it's glory, or the simplified, if equally enjoyable Elite?

Hey guys, I don't know if this is the right place to post this, so if not I'm sorry! D: I'm looking for a particular island, I used to have it but after a HDD death I now need to replace all my addons... however, I cannot for the life of me remember what this island was called. The main thing I remember about it was a very large and shallow swamp\lake type area that had a small wooden, narrow walkway running across the length of it, and if I remember correctly, it was on a Chernerus tile set. Thanks for the help, people! :D

Well! After being an UTTER balloon, it turns out you where indeed correct! It is indeed Podagorsk! :D Thanks for helping me with this guys! And thanks for pointing out a whole boat load of other cool maps to go alongside it too. Cheers! :D -

Hmm, thanks for all the suggestions here guys, but no luck yet. Maybe I imagined it, but thanks all the same. Some good recommendations all the same :) -
I voted: I am not sure, it depends... (please elaborate in your post) And the reason being that I frequently try and arrange smallish games with about 10 individual players. At least 3 of these guys have the Steam version. They are the only ones who ever have problems. Long and short I don't think ArmA2 is suited to steam at all. If you included a launcher or an OUT OF GAME mod manager\launcher where we could configure everything (This even gives you a little help with assisting the community, such as intergrating community tools similar to GPG.net for Supreme Commander for maps and mods) I'd be all for it on Steam. However if things remain the same as they are now with ArmA2, then no, absolutely not.

As much as I really want to try this mission out, it just won't download. I click the link and it INSTANTLY gives me a 404 :(

Hey people. A few friends and I are wanting to play some pretty sizable MP CO-OP missions through together, but due to a limited playtime, revive scripts are almost essential for us. We want to avoid respawning at a base or whatever and just use revives, very much in the same style as the (Pretty damned awesome) Operation: Dustoff. If you guys have any recommendations, i'll love you all to bits. Thanks! :D

Hey there, I had a nose around the forums and couldn't find it, but I do remember a few months ago, someone made a post asking about purchasing a dedicated server (Or rather slots) and recived a few replies with differnt options. I'm looking to potentially purchase a few slots on a server and i'm looking for _GOOD_ suggestions or recommendations. Thanks in advance guys. Apprciate it! :)

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Looks like it's going to be a tossup beteen Jest and Killer there. Thanks again for all the suggestions! :D
