How to edit Steam downloaded missions?

Not that I've seen, at least not the ones I have. I guess people can lock the missions? Where are these even saved, they don't show up in the Arma3 user folder where I figure I could try to open editor with -
I would like to edit some steam downloaded missions so I can use different weapons. I have a bunch of mods for realistic weapons, but I have no desire to try and design my own missions. If possible, how can I edit already made missions and just drop my ammo box's at the start point so I can play my own way?

Finally beat the Seal mission on Steam to blow up the artillary on the hill from a heli/water insertion, got to the extraction point and theres no radio. I go to command menu, and there is no radio option in any of the branches. I go to the map, there is no radio icon or button to pick. The instructions say use radio option 0-0-1 to call in the heli and then pop purple smoke. What am I doing wrong? All objectives are hit and I am 1m within extraction point. I have a radio in my inventory... I have tried dropping it on the ground and picking it back up to see if it resets any logic or whatever...very frustrating!

ive figured that part out, i end up just ordering everyone out of the vehicle then take it solo... which can be good at times, and not so much others when ur stuck shooting in a battle with no one to drive haha! but the arty thing is big, its an awesome feature but doesnt seem to be in ANY scenerio mission and i cant seem to bring it about via purchase? -

i played war welcome and i finished after havin alot of fun trying different weapons and tactics out, but im missing something. i can select different weapons etc, and create any type of troop, ground and heli to join my unit at the main base, but i have a few q's. can you spawn a vehicle without crew to use yourself? like if i want to take a cobra out or an m1 for a joy ride, can it be done? everytime i build one it comes with crew. even after taking over the airport, you still cant ever build airplanes. is there a way to do so? any place i take over only has load out change, and construction for defense weapons only, never anything like barracks etc. can you build arty units, so you can call in arty on the map? thats about all i couldnt figure out thus far! -
The hellfire trick worked... it wont fill from empty, you must have at least 1 left. thanks!

yea... 23 postings in search, NONE answer the question on how to rearm the helicopter. closest i got was "call in 5-1-4" which i have no idea wtf that means, theres no radio anyway. soooo yea, can someone simply answer me or jsut take the time to complain about the search function like every forum on the internet with lazy ass people unwilling to take 5 seconds to say the answer instead of commenting on how to use a search button that sometimes may or may not find answers in the first place.

nope i understand... but its a bistudio forum and they asked for suggestions... they might be all the same but people wont stop saying the same thing... until they fix it! haha. just pushin the cause. -

Allow change of uniforms at the bases, i want a guille if im going on a snipe run. Ground vehicle steering and braking is horrid, fix the return to center steering for keyboard users, at slow speeds its a task just to make a 90 degree turn sometimes! also, why do all of them, including the atv and offroad motorcycle slow to a crawl on the slightest grade? AI ground vehicle is atrocious. they run into everything and anything. ground effect for helicopters would make flying low and fast much safer, its far to cumbersome without it to maintain smooth flight over elevating terrain without the cushion! when i change stance from any transition, dont have the charactor stop COLD and not respond to directional movements, at the VERY least allow a movement direction to cancel the transition. if im prone and i go to stand up and i notice a threat, i shouldnt have to wait to stand all the way up then go back down if im taking fire, thats not realistic at all and causes way to many accidental fatalities! its even worse when you have a tube a-t weapon, for some reason you put it on your back, then transition, then take it out, then put it back, then finalize, then take it back out. what the holy hell? might as well be doing squat thrusts in the middle of a battle. injured aiming accuracy... just get rid of it its a useless feature. ive never been shot but im sure unless you are hit in the arms you can still aim a rifle at close distances FAR more accuratly then depicted... you have it like riding a jeep over rocks aiming a pistol blindfolded drunk. if im shot in the leg, im pretty sure, especially prone, that i can hit atleast the broadside of a barn right in front of me. draw distance for danger objects should be increased... alot! how many times im in a uav lasing a target with inbound hellfires and the target gets drawn out of view so i can no longer aim at it.... or flying fast and then bam, AAA seems to spawn out of no where because the game decided that loading trees was as important as a target threat. changing weapon speed needs to increase dramatically. from a sling to a hostered weapon is about 3 times slower then even an amatuer weapon handler can accomplish. and if its a big weapon and you are underfire, it should be smart enough to relize that you want to draw your pistol because you are taking fire....IE DROP THE FREAKIN EMPTY RPG TUBE and draw out!! this ties into the next part: dismounting an armoured vehical needs to take much longer for enemy. if i hit an apc, within half a second the occupants spawn outside the thing weapons drawn, LONG before i can even switch back to a pistol or rifle. now, they are in an armoured tank that just got slammed by explosives, came to a screatching halt, and not only are they not phased at all, but they can merge through the hatch weapons ready and shoot me, before i can even transition from a kneel to standing or draw a pistol. WOW that needs to be changed, asap. thats about it for now... -
so im doing the single player senerio where you control the apache and uav... problem is, i ran out of hellfires and when i return to the helipad at the airport next to the refuel and rearm trucks, nothing happens. there is no added option in the wheel menu, no communications option over the radio, you cant get out of the heli, and turning the engines on or of doesnt change anything. how the hell do you rearm!! it even says in the briefing that you can return to rearm refuel as necessary!

Mission question, destroying ammo crates

I played the first senerio but I cant seem to finish one of the objectives. You find a box of enemy insurgent ammo crates and you are to destroy it. How do you do this? I shot at it, i threw granades at it, i shot 203 granades at it, ive walked upto to it looking for options to apprear... but it seems its indestructable and can only be used to take ammo or weapons that are in it. what am i missing?
